​@@Oshawaves hey tip for pokemon who can use moves to get away like whirlwind dragon tail teleport etc. Bring a pokemon like Diglett/dugtrio with arena trap ability. Also, for pokemon who explode themselves, use a pokemon with the damp ability like the Psyduck line to prevent explosions

Great video! I would give a little criticism, though. When getting these rainbow shinies, I think you should've gone based off of the final evo, not the first. As they evolved, you lost the rainbow you worked so hard for! And not to mention, you could have absolutely used Blaziken for the red shiny, so getting Torchic at the beginning would have done wonders for your run. Again, still a fantastic video! That's just my thoughts when it came to what you chose.

I've never played any of the Hoenn games or their remakes, though my brother owns a copy of Omega Ruby (which he probably still plays even at this point in time), but I've definitely seen play-throughs of the Hoenn remakes and the Kalos games because the first Pokemon game I ever played is Let's Go, Eevee! Which is late into Gen 7. My favorite color is pink.

dexnav still remains a mystery to me as how the shiny odds work. I've been chaining a lot with it. Had a skorupi on like search level 300+ with a chain. When i left, i accidentally clicked on misdreavus and my first search that i did after catching it way back when i was trying to complete the dex, was immediately shiny. After that, it only took me 90 encounters for deino shiny. But some others were over 500 no shiny also, seeing as how you were using your starter to catch these pokemon, i would've actually gone for Treecko, since grovyle/sceptile can learn false swipe which would've been great for catching.

I decided I wanted to try my first nuzlocke run on an older game so I chose Alpha Sapphire and as soon as I started a new game BAM I got a shiny Torchic! I thought he looked weird cause I hadn't played my 3DS in so long but then he sparkled and I was like WTF?! Anyway, his name is Tabasco and now I think I'm gonna turn my nuzlocke into a shiny-only team.

Alpha Sapphire was my second ever pokemon game when I was 8!! Right after pokemon x lol. I remember I named my character Sapphire because my brother named his character Alpha (which was his screen name) and I wanted to match him :) My first shiny was a Yanmega in an Ultra Wormhole, i remember running over to my brother in the other room to show him lol

@@Kaitlyn-uv7ok chaining doesn’t seem to matter too much as (from my experience) dexnav is set shiny odds! So just keep going even if your chain breaks :)

After 50? My chains break after 3-5 encounters and I'm going insane, it always goes like "it couldn't be found nearby" and then breaks.
