The Pokemon Center stamp is like a new version or variation of 1st edition cards in a way. People naturally gravitate towards cards with exclusive “stamps”. Thats how I look at it.

I want the Pokémon center ETB for the promo card.. Love that art/artist. And yeah, we collect in our family but I teach my kids to not be afraid to sell too. Understand both sides of the hobby as a challenge.

The normal ETB comes with the promo card as well

@@acefstripe yeah, the Pokemon Center comes with the normal promo card and a Pokemon Center stamped version of the same card. 2 promo cards in the same ETB. I would keep the stamped version sealed. Or If it looks good, take it to GameStop and pay $15 to get it graded

@@acefstripe If you get the PC ETB, you can get 2 promos, I saw you said you had a kid who plays, with the PC ETB if you open it you can both have the card and even give your kid the "more rare" one.

The stamp is going to make these ETBS go crazy. My non stamped 151 etb is worth WAAAYY Less 😢 I expect the same to come for Surging Sparks

I'm getting back into cards with this set, I am getting 2 etbs for PC, and then a booster box from my local card shop for 120$ for personal enjoyment and collecting. Heres to hoping this set meets the hype though.

As someone living outside US/UK the choice is already made for me. If I want an PC ETB I will pay 2 - 3 times the amount you do because they don't ship here. Then the investment doesn't work out. Regular if any at this point.

Surging Sparks has so many nice illustration rares for sure but my main chase card is the Skarmory that's listed in the official card gallery for the english set. Not sure if it's in the japenese one?

Decided on 2x standard boxes to hold long term. I like the look of these pikachu cards so i need to really try hard not to be tempted to rip haha. 😅

same, I'm almost done ripping my SS booster box, I will stay strong and hold the ETB sealed for as long as I can, maybe buy some other older sets to rip haha

Canada as well - just buy 4 on PC, then the $10 shipping is only charged once 🙌 Regular ETB to rip, PC ETB to collect

id say just grab a PC in time you’ll get your money back and a profit. if your trying to hold its best to hold the PC etbs investment wise.

I got 4 boxes 📦 for $260US dollars from the Pokémon center it’s the first time getting this style of box’s for me. I’m new to Pokémon. But I’m going to hold them for 10 years too.

amazing! Don't have to take it but my suggestion is to rip open perhaps 1 of those 4 ETB's, just for some more personal enjoyment, because you have 3 others that will make profit for you, plus you can sell the promo magneton from your 1 that you opened, and whatever else cards you might pull yourself you can sell and make profit that way too. 1 open 3 sealed is what I would do, cheers and have fun!!

Nah fam the Magneton makes the pokemon center ETB clear the regular ETB easily.

It really is milking it when I got crown zenith etb my friend told me Pokémon center etb’s are better then I pulled two gold giratina vstar sect rares 😂 so I had the last laugh
