It depends on which ETB sleeves you use. The new ones with the matte finish on the front really a take away from the shine. I’m really disappointed at how all the newer sleeves have this instead of the old gloss transparent sleeves.

Thanks for watching. Yep, I reflow the binder each time a new exclusive is released. It takes a little more work, but it’s nice to go back through a set. Especially when the release a card on a set that’s already two or three years old.

Crazy video after just a week released. I feel like you could help the audience out by also explaining how you were able to get the set so quickly and break down how many boxes, packs, and bought cards by the numbers cause it seems unreal to do this without being a seller. Maybe you are, idk. I’ve gone thru 651 packs so far myself. That’s 16 booster boxes, and 9 etbs plus 1 3pk and I’m not even close to the master set. Still need 1 reverse Holo, lol, lots of the full arts, hypers, secrets, and golds still. Reading all the comments tho, seems like everyone wants to hear/know how it was done by the numbers. It’s pretty amazing.

I agree 100% Epic. I would love to know how the set was completed so quickly. I open so much product and I don’t even get close to completing sets. Unless you are buying singles and trading a ton there’s no way you’re completing a set even with the 600 packs you opened Epic. It’s insane how huge these sets are and how hard it is to pull the cards you need.

We opened maybe 800 packs or so. Kinda lost track. Lol… Our pull rates were insane for this set. We’ve uploaded quite a few of our openings so far. In 2 ETBs we hit the Alt Art Calyrex VMAX and Rainbow Celebi VMAX. In a booster box, we hit 2 alt arts and a Secret Rare. I actually think every booster box we opened we got at least one secret rare. After we finished opening all our packs, we were still missing a few so we picked those up as singles. I really hope our luck from this set continues over to Evolving Skies, but I think that might be asking a little too much. Haha.

We use the ETBs for a lot of storage. The pins, sleeves, dice, etc…. I built a shelf that holds all our binders as well as our deck boxes.

That’s a neat idea. Not every Tauros will have a regular, holo, and reverse. The very early ones may only have a non holo or holo. Some of the recent ones (like the GX) will have a normal GX, Full Art, and Rainbow Rare.

It really depends on your preference. Some people like top loaders, some like binders. I like binders so I can have them all together and because I like to flip through the binders to look at them all. Most of the time, you’ll always come out a head with just buying singles (at least with the newer sets since they are so large). But when it comes to opening packs, I always prefer booster boxes over ETB’s, tins, collection boxes, etc since they are usually the better deal.

If you didn't collect all the reverse holos then I would just consider it a complete set. Once you add in the reverse holos, it becomes a master set. That's at least the way I look at it.

Its easy , just use the players guide book that came with the etb's , you can see all the cards that came as holo and reverse , always all holo cards came as reverse , and all the regular cards came as reverse , you should get just 2 , i mean all the holo cant be regular and all regular cant be holo , this is for all the cards came inside the booster packs

The normal Galarian Rapidash V was taken out of the set and made a promo, but both full sets are still in the set. And the Sandaconda is from Battle Styles, but has a stamp on it and a different holo pattern.

I like to include them if they are the exact same card but either a holo or non holo. Sometimes they work out really well with how the binder is laid out. Especially Chilling Reign and Evolving Skies. There are websites such as Bulbapedia that will list out any additional exclusives that were released. We do go back and add in any new exclusives released even if it a year or two after the set released.

Now that I have seen your set actually put together.... I think I am going to give up on this set. I completed most of the oringal with reverse holos and V/Vmax. I pulled a Bliziken vmax last week from chilling and im not seeing it in your set. is it from a different set?

There are 3 Blaziken VMAX in this set. The normal VMAX (near the beginning of the binder), the rainbow, and the alt art.

Looking at other large pack openings. He would need 4000 packs to get a full set. Most will be singles

We opened well over 500 packs, and had amazing pull rates, but had to purchase some singles. We will be uploading videos of all the Booster Boxes, ETB, etc that we opened over the next several weeks.

What's your collecting process? I assume you start by busting packs but what at point will you switch to singles?

Yeah, we start with several booster boxes to where we at least open 500 packs. We did really well with pull rates for Chilling Reign so we didn’t have to buy many (or expensive) singles.

I was just wondering if opening a 3rd box would be ideal for a casual collector trying to complete a master set. Like I stopped opening shining fates after I got all the cards outside of the rev slot, just wondering where the balance lies in normal sets. Thanks for the content

I actually trade in all duplicates (except a few we use for decks) to put towards the next set. The good thing about opening at least a few booster boxes is getting all the commons/uncommons/rares and cards that are good for deck building. It’s a little more difficult getting the reverse holos though. And of course the secret rares which are not even guaranteed one per box.

I would say you can have a complete set if you collect either the normal cards (non holo commons/etc) or the reverse holos, but for a master set you would include both.
