I think Nintendo will probably be fine with this, they are fine with showdown, so they should be fine with this, there are really just a few things they don’t want people doing, making any serious money off of things (like money beyond what it takes to run a site), making things that can actually compete with actual Pokémon games (so like no training of Pokémon, no making friends, no journey, etc, they don’t care as much about the battling aspect), and that people aren’t making Pokémon look bad, PCC isn’t competing at all, it’s a fighting game similar to street fighter, about as far from being what Nintendo cares about with Pokémon, it doesn’t make money, and it doesn’t make a bad name for Pokémon

And small correction on this game giving TPC a bad reputation, it does actually when you consider the failure that was Pokken Tournament.

Ok, so Character 15 is going to turn some heads, which must mean it’s an odd-ball pick for sure. In that case? If we’re going to avoid babies/LC, or non-fully evolved pokemon, I’d say it’ll either be Crabominable, a fighting type no one bats an eye to, or Annihilape, which could turn heads based on Primeape already being in the roster. On another note, Silvally-Fighting would be hilarious to see just due to not being fighting type at heart, but high doubts on my end. There are some others it could easily be, but I think it’s better to wait and hope for the best

If we're talking for another Gen 7 rep, I can see Crabominable being a slow but heavy hitting setplay character. I would really be interested in one of the Ultra Beasts. Pheromosa might be off the table due to similarities with Mienshao and Galarian Zapdos but Buzzwole would be really cool as a grappler character but then again Bewear kinda already does that. Passimian I can see being an all rounder using the coconut like Captain America's shield projectile and doing shoulder bashes and stuff for the rugby/football influence. Kommo-o I can see having interesting stun potential with it's sound based moves.
