I still hope for Shino Remake! I know that as time goes on, so must we, and enter a new generation, and I am more than enjoying it. For crying out loud there's finally a grass-dragon type pokemon for my grass type loving heart! However, from time to time it's good to go back and remember/rediscover the pillars that make all this enjoyable and lovable in the first place. To introduce newcomers of the modern age to our past and why we cherish it so. For example Omega Red/ Sapphire Blue and Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee. TLTR: It's a great way to buy time for new stuff, tug at the nostalgia strings, and give the modern folks a look at the past without having to track down relic games/devices.
