I first learned about shiny Pokémon by finding a pink Ekans on my Gold version. I had already battled the red Gyrados but I thought that was a one-time thing for the game, though apparently not. I ended up catching a green Zubat later on, but I never encountered another shiny Pokémon after that. Plus my Zubat stopped being green once it evolved, though it still had sparkles around it when I sent it out.

Something I wonder I does a held item boost damage before or after stab? Cause swift with stab on Pooh does 90 damage, 99 if pink bow works off of stab or 96 if before stab. Sure 3 power but you never know when that difference will matter

*SCYKOH's Diary* *Entry 7* *Wednesday, May 17, 2017* *YO! HELLO AND WELCOME TO ANOTHER AMAZING DAY OF POKÉMON! LET'S GET THINGS STARTED!* ^_^ I started tonight off by talking to Frieda Friday (I wonder where she got her name! Hehehe!) who gave me a Poison Barb that will help amp up the attacks of a Poison-Type Pokémon! YAY! ^_^ How very considerate! ^_^ Then after sleeping, I started the day off by getting into a battle with a Bird Tamer named Peter who started things off by sending out his Pidgey! Hehehe! I promptly let Pooh play with the annoying bird! Hehehe! He did the same thing to Peter's second Pidgey and his Spearow. ^_^ GO POOH! ^_^ Then I went into Union Cave! I always enjoy caves! ^_^ So many thing to see and find! ^_^ I quickly found an X-Attack which will boost one of my party member's Attack power in battle! ^_^ Then I got into a battle (speaking of which) with a Hiker named Daniel who sent out his Onix so I promptly let Rita deal with this rock snake! ^_^ Then I was challenged by another Hiker (this one's name was Russell) who started things off by sending out his Geodude so I let Rita deal with this rock! ^_^ Russell responded by sending out his second Geodude so Rita had Round Two! ^_^ As a result of this battle, Rita grew to Level 14! *YAY!* #KEEPITUPRITA! Russell's last Pokémon turned out to be a third Geodude so Rita got Round Three! ^_^ Then I got into a battle against a Fire-Breather named Bill who started things off with his Koffing so I let Pooh deal with this smog ball! ^_^ As a result of *this* battle, Pooh grew to Level 14 as well! ^_^ *YAY!* #TIEDFORLEVELS! Bill's second Pokémon turned out to be a second Koffing and Pooh quickly scratched it out of existence! ^_^ Then I found a free Potion on the ground! YAY! Then I was challenged by a PokéManiac named Larry who sent out his Slowpoke so I let Pooh deal with this wise guy! ^_^ Then I found an X-Defend who is the counterpart to X-Attack! ^_^ Then I found a TM39 which will allow me to teach someone how to use Swift so I quickly taught that to Pooh! ^_^ Then I came upon a Fire-Breather named Ray who sent out his Vulpix! SO CUTE! ^_^ I promptly let Pooh show that fox what it says! ^_^ Then I found a free Awakening on the ground! AWESOME! ^_^ Now I'm finished (for now) with Union Cave! ^_^ I came upon Route 33 and immediately ran into a woman who had also just exited the cave and she was exhausted. Hehehe. Next to her, however, I found a Berry Tree so I picked a Psncureberry! ^_^ Then I was challenged to a battle by a Hiker named Anthony who started things off with his Geodude so I let Rita deal with this rock! ^_^ As a result of that battle, Rita grew to Level 15! YAY! #SOPROUD! As a result of that experience, he also learned how to use Poison Powder in exchange for Growl. ^_^ Anthony responded by sending out his Machop so I let Rita continue playing since I knew that Pooh would be a dangerous choice here. Hehehe. Then I made it to Azalea Town! AWESOME! ^_^ However, I'm going to wrap things up for today but I'll be back for tomorrow's adventure! ^_^ *TAKE CARE, EVERYONE!* ^_^
