I don't think PKMN Strangled Red has a game version of it (which is sad cause the original creepypasta is my favorite pokemon creepypasta) and I think the reason why is because the original story says that the ENTIRE game played normal up until the post game, meaning they'd have to either remake the entire original pokemon red THEN add stuff, make a rom hack for the game, or just cut to the post game without any context, which would somewhat break the immersion I guess. If you do find a game though, i'd recommend it, since it's an amazing creepypasta story. If you CAN'T find a game though, I say just make a reaction video to someone reading the original story (with their permission of course) and give all credit needed.

I don't think Strangled Red has a playable version from what I know but, I would at least read the pasta itself, it's a "slow descent into madness" kinda story that's just plausible enough to be creepy and with a level of self-awareness that makes suspension of disbelief easier.

as far as my research on pokepasta games went, sadly, there isn't a strangled red game however, i do remember finding one called creepy black (or just black but imo it's better to call it creepy black to differenciate it from the ds game) lastly, great video, can't wait to see more pokepasta content!

I have a theory for this Pikachu was your starter but for whatever reason the player decided to trade the Pikachu for something else, probably a ghost Pokemon that learns Curse (The most probable one) Thanks to the ghost having curse the Pikachu became Uchakip and decided to kill everyone since not only it was cursed, but it was also traded for another Pokemon The main clue of the Pikachu being traded is the room at the end, a trading station

Sadly strangled red doesn't have a playable game, if it did it would for the mostpart be a normal game till the end so it would be a little tedious unless someone took some creative libertys throughout, or they hacked it to start at the end. Kinda disappointing since it's a great story, and its one of the most wanted romhacks and has yet to be made.

All of the coolest creepypastas unfortunately don't have ROM hacks... Otherwise I would ask for Abandon Loneliness or Prevention of Evolution. I would also like to request for you to play Pokemon Black version (the creepy hack of Red/Blue/Yellow and not the official Gen 5 games), but it may take a couple parts to complete because the hack is as long as the official R/B/Y.

The "Hurry, Run Away" mode was actually a dropped early concept for Pokemon if you would go into tall grass without a pokemon. Presumably, you had to go to Viridian first without a pokemon to get something and come back. Or you could run around with your entire team fainted until you healed them. Something of the sort.

I think it being a nightmare the trainer is having over guilt of letting his starter die is a decent interpretation. What's kind of weird is the official games have given us lore just about as creepy as the made up stories on the internet. It's strange that they'd shy away from making the games a touch darker--there's so much to work with.

Then she made a trade for a wigglytuff. But it seemed odd. The Wigglytuff was named “Disabled”. When she went in battle with it, the only move it knew was sing. So she used it, but it kept failing. Then after that, The wigglytuff had black eyes and the game made a glitchy screech noise. Then the words “Why can’t I sing?” Started flooding the screen.
