SCIENCE TIME: the purpose of amputating to stop an infection, as far as I'm aware, is if it's a bacterial infection rather than a viral infection. like the kind that is swollen, red, hot, with pus, etc. in that situation it's pretty much localized to the area it occurs in and the idea is if it's an infection bad enough that it's causing a fever that might kill you, you can amputate. (fevers are a body's attempt to kill invading bacteria by boiling them alive, but the body itself can only survive up to around 107 Fahrenheit/42 Celsius.) as pikasprey said, a viral infection wouldn't be stopped at all by amputation because of the way blood works, yeah. same reason sucking venom out of a snakebite is sadly just a myth. I guess you could argue that since a zombie infection is just fiction, maybe it's a bacterial illness rather than a viral one? bacterial illnesses do exist, notable examples are pneumonia, strep throat, and tuberculosis. you CAN amputate for those but it's generally not very helpful. note that I'm not a doctor though. also let's be real, it's a pokemon rpgmaker game, no thought was given as to whether it's a viral or bacterial infection

The time in the Walking Dead show where an amputation actually "cured" an infected person was when someone got his arm cut off within a minute of getting bitten. Theres at least one more time in the Telltale game where they do it later but that only slowed the infection down

Yeah, one of the weak points of these games are that the pacing and timing of the cutscenes are out of wack. Scenes that are supposed to take place quickly get dragged out for minutes because the dialogue and animation is so slow.

Honestly not going to lie i would love to see an entire game dedicated to something like this going through the entire region on a journey to help people and stuff. Make like you're searching for someone specific and get clues along the way. On the way you'll find a side quest that can allow you to access the chance to get a new pokemon but if you fail the side quest the Pokemon get turned and it's your only chance to get them. Also with the case of Toby on the S.S. Anne is most likely that he was Munchausen syndrome along with some split personality in his head.

Munchhausen isn't commonly associated with Psychosis, which seems to be Toby's apparent condition, could result from a number of factors like BPD or Schizophrenia, but the symptoms line up pretty well: paranoid delusions, social withdrawal, difficulty carrying out daily activities, inappropriate behavior (feeding people sick vermin as retaliation for perceived bullying).

Munchies do what they do for attention. They'll commit bodily harm, fake terminal illness and things like that for attention, special treatment or privileges. The other commenter has a good explanation of certain mental illnesses that can explain Toby. I do have an alternate theory, he's patient zero and the zombie disease is acting on his brain, I don't think it's expounded much in the story, other than it being something team rocket unearthed. But he might have been losing his mental faculties during the time.

@@ProtoTypeFM To me, assaulting someone means the attackers have come to terms with the possibility of that person dying as a result of being beaten as hard as was described. Which is about equal to an attempted murder. HOWEVER, that'd be a long debate to have. I've gotten a bit further into the video and then saw what it looked like from others' perspective. It does seem like it's just all the guy being delusional for once, and no one actually did anything to him. So yeah, they did not deserve any of it and he was just sick in the head.

I just finished watching the old Dawn video like a day before this went up. At the time I wondered what was the item in Surge's gym after Asprey missed it then. Thought "Oh cool, I'll get to see what it is on this new playthrough." Turns out this was a part of the timeline that Celebi didn't change.

I believe what causes the projectiles not hitting the enemies is that both the projectile and the enemy move from one square to the other at the same time. This happening as often as it did during these playthroughs is just bad luck I guess.

The stuff with Sabrina talking about her visions of Drake dying is the stupidest thing that has been said in this series so far. Its the only plot point that has made me annoyed. Since when did Sabrina have the power to see into other timelines? I feel like it would make way more sense for her to just assume her vision was wrong or something. Also she already was the most annoying character so far before that. Also I love how the scene right after is basically like: "Drake you're bad!" "Nuh uh!" "Oh yeah nvm you're awesome." Couldn't Drake just have asked to have a starter when he got sent back in the good ending? We know Elm didn't have a 3rd trainer to give them to.

It only uses Earthquake when you’re hiding. It’s a mechanic to stop you from cheesing the boss with Sentret. Other bosses have the same mechanic. €: if you hit it often enough it won’t use Earthquake.

He did play them. This is a replay since he played the remaster of Pokémon Dusk not too long ago. It technically also counts as new due to the bonus material from the Dusk remaster he'll be showing at the end of this video.
