I just went against this guy, the Kingdra was so difficult though. Camerupt lv40 Gyarados lv41 Altaria lv41 Swampert lv42 Manetric lv41 Kadabra lv42 Kingdra took out most of my team, but I survived on a whim. Finally Kingdra ran out of PP, so I could just attack it without it using rest... but this took forever since it had raised it's evasiveness so high. So it's not impossible with your pokemon below 45.

Don't underestimate because after Seadra evolves into Kingdra, it can learn water & dragon type moves.

If Juan couldn't use Kingdra, I think his ace should have been Crawdaunt. It's the only Gen III Water-type Pokémon he uses that Wallace doesn't.

Funny. I don't remember most of the faces of the gym leaders in Emerald. But when I see their ace, suddenly memories flood back of me getting dunked on. I didn't remember Juan at all, until I saw Kingdra... caused me so much resets. I could say the same with Winona when I saw her Altaria.

You got soooooo lucky. With me, the sob just spams double team. I used a Lanturn to inflict Paralysis and Confusion on him, but he just sleeps it off. I used shock wave to deal with double team, but it barely hurts him and when he does get in the red, he sleeps it off again. And then he dodges my status attacks. Then i run out of PP and he wipes out the rest of my party. Tch. I guess it's useless to try and go toe to toe with lv 46 Kingdra using a party below level 45. Sound is way off, btw.

I think Juan has a good strategy with Wiscash. Some people will use electric types on him so he can earthquake. But you cab kill it with a grass move, But another strategy is the Sealeo, because if you use a grass type, he can send it out and use ice moves.

For Kingdra you should probably use a dragon type move... Since it's the only darn type that's effective against it.

You can capture a Bagon in Meteor Falls after Team Aqua and Team Magma have been defeated there. ...but you need to level it up. That's the only way you'll be able to get a Salamence.

This guy was hard to beat for me until i got Rayquaza that is. If this guy is too much to handle, just get Rayquaza with the Masterball. Then you can just fly or outrage your way to victory. =D P.S. He is at Sky Pillar and bring the Mach Bike with you, and a bunch of repels.

My team was: Manectric lv40 (only reason I won) Vibrava lv 37 Kadabra lv 40 Lairon lv 37 Blaziken lv 37 Crawdaunt lv 41 Yeah, kind of underleveled... I won on pure luck. I had lost two pokemon to whiscash already by the time kingdra came around. It took out all but manetric. I needed 3 thunderbolts to win, but on the 2nd one it would always rest, i'd get to the 2nd while it was sleeping, and it would wake up and immediately rest again. Most annoying fight ever. I eventually won somehow.

Kekezo Heracross (can be caught in the Far right corner of the Safari) would've been a huge help in taking out Crawdaunt and Sealo! Also it's rare that someone has a Vibrava! The training to be a Flygon must've been grueling.
