Fun fact in the glacia battle. The AI is interesting when it chooses the switch priority where it’ll actually prioritize a bad type matchup if that Pokémon has a super effective move. So it was actually BECAUSE of their water types that the AI chose the sealeo and walrein over the glacies. It makes no sense but it was guaranteed to be that order.

So i know it's 5 months later but my personal favorite "bad" pokémon is definitely girafarig. It's the only giraffe pokemon we have to date and i adore its design. Much like sableye the typing is really rare and good if you can get it to work. Yes normal/psychic isn't nearly as good as ghost/dark but both can really work with the right natures and abilities. Sap sipper adamant or modest girafarig could prove quite deadly as it gets access to both zen headbutt, psychic, headbutt or stomp, or hyper voice to help with stab and it can even be taught dazzling gleam via tm to potentially take care of dark pokemon

I loved Enter the Unown's runs with some of the lowest stat Pokemon. I would love to see more runs with Pokemon with bad stats/movesets. Some suggestions: 1. First form bug or bird only run. Ie Caterpie/Weedle/Paras/Venonat. Pidgey, Spearow, Hoothoot run. 2. A Machoke or Graveler only run - many people use Kadabra but those two doesn't get a lot of attention 3. Low power move only run - no technician/rollout/fury cutter. 4. Slow Pokemon Only Run, any Gen. Use some of the slowest Pokemon to speed run a region. 5. A team of Pokemon that evolves into a 3 themed Pokemon: Diglett, Doduo, Magnemite and Exeggcute.

Loved the video, but one thing you should remember is to play around the critical hit. There were tons of potential crits that would’ve taken a team member out, especially in the elite four and champion battle. I’m honestly surprised no one went down after Sirius

Didn’t expect the outcome at the end :0 Love the name chocies. The last Elite 4 member had me stuck for a decade trying to fight him. I was in late elementary / early middle school days, but still. I have ptsd from all those failed attempts ;u; My goal in those games were to use only the Pokémon I found that were cool or that I liked. Mostly, they were all HM slaves so they were mostly useless. So glad HMs are gone ;u; I love Shroomish/Breloom. I have a Pokémon go chat group with my family. They all mock me for not being able to have a shiny Shroomish. Since it’s not in the game yet. Which is weird, since every Pokémon has a shiny form. It should be in the game if the Pokémon is in it. Pokémon go is weird but now I’m invested in finding the dumb thing (harsh but I say that in a loving way. Trust me). He didn’t even make the cut for the DLC for sword and shield. I was so excited to bring over my original Breloom from my ruby game. I wanted to give him all the curry and ball throws in HD. But no ;-; I’ll just have to wait to take his picture in the New Pokémon Snap update. Which, I am appreciative of that. He needs some love. …Also, Suicune is my favorite Pokémon, so glad I can take pics of him in Snap. So majestic ✨u✨. Mudsdale is second because if she can take hits like a tank. Then I shall love her and her horse looks ❤️ Breloom is third. He really does get left out of favorite lists. I think he can make a really good Pokémon if given a mega/dyna. Honestly, just upgrade my boi Nintendo. I wish to feed and pet my pet kangaroo-mushroom. Just realized I made this post to compliment your efforts but it turned out to be a rant. Whoops 😅 #TeamPlant

Honestly, the bug type is my favorite type by far, but I hated Volbeat and Illumise….but in the run I’m doing in OR right now I decided to give Volbeat a shot and it’s totally changed my mind lol it’s been so much fun to play with and I totally did not expect that. I’ve been at level or below my opponents and it’s just dominating after getting at least one Tail Glow in since it boosts SpAtk by 3. Just did not see this turn around coming since I didn’t care for their designs but I’m glad I decided to give it a chance

My guess is that they will remove attract, cute charm, and infatuation mechanics sometime in the near future. If attract didn't have the limitation of being only usable against (about) 50% of opponents then it would without a doubt be the best move in the game. A 100% accuracy move that prevents the enemy from moving on some turns until they switch out - very OP!

It honestly was really fun to watch. I’d love it if you were to ever to this kind of run again with another generation where the stats of many Pokemons were revisited. Maybe Gen 5 where you then don’t have to worry about using TM once and can even more strategize regarding the move pools of your Pokemon. Anyway great video. My favorite "Bad Pokemon" is also my favorite pokemon: Dunsparce. While it had a great movepool, and ability, but it's stats ruin it competitive wise but I just like it. It's a cute fat sleepy little snake and I love it. Also Dunsparce is pretty good in gen 2 early game with Rage and Rollout

Sacking pokemon on the champion is almost completely inconsequential because the run is over after the battle in most cases. The two may have died, but their save file will be deleted or rarely if ever used again after you're done, so it doesn't really matter much. Still, gg, always interesting to see what you do

Not even a roast Vivid but Wailord can get water spout, the literal best water move in the game, higher your HP percentage, higher the damage at max its minimum 200 power I think it’s 250 for base power tho, then consider rain dance, and stab, and possible super effectively on Stevens team (I know wrong game but still the postgame fight exists) so it’s just an opinion but I think it’d have made things easier
