Looked online to see if I could find similar cards but couldn’t find any. Wondering if you’ve come across this

@@Tija947 I actually have come across this in a missprint and error group I follow on Facebook. A few cards from the new sets have this color error on half the Pokémon. It is a pretty big and noticeable error. They are definitely desirable but the rarity of them isn’t quite known because the set is so new. if I were you I would hold onto it for a few years. If you did want to sell I could see you getting $50 or more right now. Thanks for sharing sorry being a Vmax I’m sure you can get well over $50 probably $100 or more if you find the right buyer

I actually looked for misprints when I was 8 or 9 because I noticed them and was very intrigued by the misprints. A lot of kids my age didn’t really cate for them, so now I have a lot of misprints. Thousands of commons and such to go through. It’ll take hours probably ✌🏻🙏🏻

I know exactly what you are talking about 😁 that’s a cool error. It the English fossil Zapdos. They left the holo out where an evolution box would be. It’s a cool error but falls in line with the vulpix error where I believe the early release of that card are all like that. I forgot to mention that one and that’s actually one that I don’t have yet. Thanks for bringing that card up👍🏼

Nice collection. I'm an error collector as well. I collect more unique one offs like miscuts, texture shift, etc, but I do have some of the bigger WOTC ones. I recently found a Dragonair with the same error as the clefairy with the heart, but it has an orange heart inside of a circle.

Another big one is the cigar stain haunter and hitmonlee. I own a copy of the blue stain haunter. I know the guy who owns a Magnezone EX with a huge error as well. It has the texture of Lysanre full art printed on it instead of the Magnezone texture

I have a LP/NM 1st Ed Haunter (holo) with an orange cigar stain. I know it’s really rare, I have yet to see any on eBay aside from the hitmonlee, or the blue ink haunter error. Curious as to how much you think a card like that is worth?

Right now I would expect a little over $1k. That’s definitely a well sought after error. I found a couple listed on eBay for 2k and 3k they sold for prices under that though. If you don’t need the money I would hold onto it

That would be called a crimp error. It’s a cool error to have. Not the most valuable but adds some being in a pikachu card. Couldn’t give you an exact price but would expect around $10 to $20

So i just opened up a evo booster box (was live on fb) and so many of the cards in the box were cut weird and then there was half square cut cards.. the whole left side. They had the black dot in the corner on bottom for lining up the cards I guess. 1 of the cards was a secret rare flying pika. Also there was a few other half square cuts but they also were missing a chunk of the card at the bottoms next to the squared corner. So basically i was wondering if I could email you and if you could help me figure out what kind of value these have and if I should get them graded and what now. Thanks

From My knowledge PSA won’t grade the square edge cards but cgc will. The pikachu sounds pretty awesome, I wouldn’t sell it for less than $30 though it might go for more.

So if you want the best place for big orders of the new cards you can’t beat safari zone collectibles. That’s where a lot of people will purchase bulk orders online. Tcg player and eBay (only purchase from those with 100% satisfaction and always get a picture of the back of the card so you can better determine condition. Besides those places target Walmart and GameStop

Love the honesty 🤣. So by the sound of the card, I would guess it is a fake. An easy way to check is by looking at it next to a light, you will be able to see the other side of the cards if it is fake. A lot of fake cards have multiple errors like you mentioned. Still sounds like a cool card though

That is another good way to tell but some fakes use other ways to make them where the color of the back looks similar in color.

Yes they can be worth something for sure. Depends on what the card is. Something like a charizard or pikachu could be worth a lot of really badly cut. Collectors normal look at paying about double the value of the card if not very miss cut. It’s all determined on how bad a cut and how bad someone wants it

incase of the Ancient Mew, the corrected is worth allot more then the error :P I believe no set symbol is rarer then the 1st edition holo's. You sure have allot of error cards, I have a bunch but I don't collect error cards.. I want an ink stain Haunter, but they are so pricey lol

So I heard about the corrected Mew being worth more than the error but after purchasing some online it does not seem to hold true. All the Ancient Mews I have purchased still sealed have been corrected and go for not that much. The only time I can get an error Nintedo card is by searching for the error and they have gone for a bit more. If you know of any cheaper listings let me know and I will be sure to check it out. Also I found that they have a few different versions not just error and corrected. These are based on holo pattern color and boarder size. I think I have them all once my new one comes in from the recent Japanese reprint. I believe some of these do go for more than the missprint

@@motomon9848 Sounds like you bought the reprint Ancient Mew from 2019 and not the orginal, because the corrected version is worth the most :P Nintedo is the default Japanese Ancient Mew. @@motomon9848 if copyright says 2019, it's the reprint :P Btw the Japanese Ancient Mew also says Nintendo, but it's not the corrected version. It's often mistaken as the corrected version, but the holo effect is different. The Japanse Ancient Mew looks allot like the very common English Ancient Mew it's more shiny and not sparkly

Misscuts that show another card and feature favorites like charizard are highly sought after. The price is really what a miscut collector would pay. If the card checks out and is real I wouldn’t consider anything under $100

I am just getting back into tgc and I pulled a full art trainer with bad alignment... I was honestly upset, thinking it would decrease the value. The alignment is so bad on this full art, that the corner has a black spot, like what was shown at the beginning of the video and when I saw that part of the video it made me so happy!

I have a pokemon card error out of the pack with a pressing error on the trim, looks like a track. I can’t find another one with the same error. Help.

That’s what the error community calls a crimp mark. It’s not everyone’s favorite kind of error and some just call it damaged. Depending on how big the crimp is, what card it’s on and where the crimp is located can determine any potential value. Though they usually don’t go for much more than the card without the crimp, and you need to find a crimp collector. If I were you I would hold onto it 👍🏼

Also it is caused by the crimping process to seal the pack, sometimes the cards are not positioned correctly in the pack and the crimp hits the card as well causing those marks
