Pokemon Evolutions Booster Box Opening Pt. 2

A Pokemon Evolutions Booster Box is opened in this video. The Evolutions set is brand new and today is the official release date. This is part 2 of the booster box opening, and overall I had amazing pulls with this box, even though I'm still hunting for the Charizard holo. I hope that means I'll continue having great luck with Evolutions openings in the future when I open the Elite Trainer Boxes and Blister Packs. This box was $94.99 from Collector's Cache.

I believe a magician sued Wizards of the Coasts for printing a Kadabra card.

The magician PTP is talking about is none other than the fraudulent spoon-bender Uri Geller, who took Nintendo to court for about $100 million for the depiction of Kadabra painting him as an evil, occult Nazi wizard. The case was apparently thrown out of court, but I guess Nintendo and The Pokémon Company decided it was best for Kadabra to never be used again after the incident.

Hey! The only reason i bought packs from this set, was to pull the old holo cards, but I've had a hard time pulling those, and I'm actually pulling more ex cards than holo rares, in 20 packs, I've pulled 8 ex cards and 4 holo cars(two of which being the same card). Are the holo rates in this set more rare than usual, or am i just having bad luck?

With the XY series sets, EX cards and holo cards have about the same rarity, 1 in 6 packs, so you're just having more luck with the EX cards. If you don't mind buying them online, holo cards from this set, other than Charizard are dirt cheap.

what I never understand is why pokemon gives you a reverse holo per pack. it should be like base set and have a holo card or something every 2 or 3 packs. and really, a "rare" card shouldn't be in every pack. but that is just me

Mainly because they come in the reverse holo spot and don't count towards the 12 combined holo and ultra rares you get in a box.

Im opening my first ever booster box tomorrow and this is the one i decided to go with. Im chasing the holo charizard of course bc as a kid i always wanted it and never got it. Utterly staggered and so happy at my pulls: Full Art Dragonite EX, Full Art Mega Charizard EX (my favourite), Mega Slowbro EX, Mega Blastoise EX, Charizard EX, Venasaur EX, Pidgeot EX, Machamp Break, Starmie Break. Holos: Machamp, Charizard, Magneton, Ninetails, Chansey, Hitmonchan Reverse Holo: Nidoking, Charizard, Gyarados, Poliwrath, Zapdos, Chansey, Ninetails, Mew plus uncommon or common reverse holos. Ecstatic! :)

Mikey Gifford relativly so. Out of 4 boxes i pulled 71 holos, full arts, ex, mega ex and secret rares combined. In one of those boxes i pulled 5mega, 6holos, 1 ex, 1 fullart and a bunch of secret rares. But that box def the best of the 4. I got to say tho that the secret rares are way to easy to pull. I pulled 19 total from the 4 boxes..

I would say a little easier to pull than some of the other XY series sets, but not that much easier, you're looking at getting 5 to 8 ultra rares per box.

I bought a full case of this set and after 4boxes i had the complete set. I was only missing a mewtwo ex full art 103/108, which i ordered from ebay. So still got two sealed boxes left that i will keep stashed for some years :)

Absolutely, and after some research i found out that there a prerelease charizards with a"staff" stamp on them. I just had to pick one up as i believe that card is going to explode in value! They are going for roughly 300 usd now on ebay, so already pricy!

also, I have noticed how "lazy" pokemon cards are made now. the holographic patterns look terrible, (exept evolutions) and the card thickness is thin and floppy, and just overall cheaply made
