True, but there's absolutely zero proof that any of this is real. He's already using an emulator to upgrade the speed, there's nothing to stop him from turning on 'all shinies' and acting like it took him X amount of time and attempts. What would you do after 20,000 attempts and two months on one Pokemon, knowing no one in the audience would know the difference? No one can say for sure it's fake, but why not take any measure at all to prove that this is real, especially considering how ridiculous it is? This is like doing a blindfolded speedrun without a camera or live feed to prove you're blindfolded. It's extremely suspicious.

I've did some calculation using probability of 1/8192 chances of getting it and found out that around 30000 attempts before he at least get a few of the shiny. I see it as quite unlikely that he would go through 30,000 before getting one. My calculation is as follows. Chances of obtaining shiny after x attempts = 1 - (1/8192)^x So, if you did x = 30000 times Then, 1 - (1/8192)^30000 which comes out to be 0.974 or 97.4% Around 5700 attempts the graph to plateau for a probability graph which is 50% chance at which point continuing attempting without getting shinny will get more unlikely This is untrue if the chances of obtaining shiny from this event is different or if he miscounted by extra zeroes? P.S , this is kinda same goes with 17000, the probability is 87.4% for Charmander. I might be wrong with my assumption. Feel free to correct me

I've did some calculations and found out its unlikely that he would go through 17,000 attempts and 30,000 attempts before getting shiny. If the probability across the game is fix for shiny is 1/8192 then, Probability of getting shiny is = 1 - (8191/8192)^x x being the attempt(s) 30,000 attempts = 97.4% Chance of getting shiny 17,000 attempts = 87.4% Chance of getting shiny 5,700 attempts = 50.1% Chance of getting shiny Therefore, if he did 30,000 or 17,000 attempts then he should get at least a few shiny beforehand as he's more likely to obtain shiny around 5000 ~ 10000 attempts. This is like trying to roll 20 D6 and not get one number at all.

I started hunting Shinies in Pokemon X and Y which was easier with Fishing Chain and other items method and still took me long time to ensemble a Party of 6 decent shiny pokemons. In older Generations I was only able to do it with Gameshark. Kudos my friend, great video.

When I played Violet it tells you how many shinies you’ve battled, and I’ve battled several shinies without being aware, and the one I did catch was only by chance, I didn’t know it was a shiny until I saw the symbol in its summary. And that’s not from being unfamiliar with the normal sprite. So yes, it is a problem. Don’t speak on things you clearly don’t understand 🤡
