I used a scarfed Heracross. All I needed to do was switch out of Vileplume and Gengar to go into my Typhlosion to own them with Flamethrower. Everything else just kinda rolled over and died to the CCs.

Milktank is not that big of a pain if you bring Geodude and spam Defense Curl. Make sure it has a fighting moves and it's female. I did the female Geodude and it was on a Nuzlocke and I had no faints. It was really hard though.

If you took some patience headbutting trees, you'll get a Heracross!!!! That thing is a damn boss. Bug and fighting, basically it reduces dark moves and kill most of Karen's team. (Since it has got high attack. For Houndoom, I suggest you either try catching a Lapras on Friday or raise a Feraligator

Alternatively, you can paralyze it with something - a Mareep, for example - and then you can bring out an Aipom and spam Tickle. :3 I've seen it done with NO fainting before.

I tore that miltank to pieces with quilava. it was hard, but you needed to reduced miltank's accuracy & keep a rock type on hand. Morty was hard, but his gengar is weak to dark types like umbreon. Poliwrath has no hope against a flyer or someone who knows sunny day. Use a fast pokemon that's either equipped with ice or dragon moves for Clair. It's not a hard game with a good strategy.
