Hatenna's evolution into Hattrem definitely feels deserved more than Kilowattrel after this with all her On-Screen Develop-progression on her personality & character leading her to evolve!!!! AND she proves it by KO-ing 3 Annihilapes with her new Brutal Swing!!! And she stays true to who she is by Heal Pulsing them better!!! Albeit she does feel sad that she can no longer be in Liko's hood, but now Hatenna is ready to assist in support AND offense whenever Liko needs her!!!!!!

I agree, although Kilowattrel's evolution was cool, it suffers from a lack of development and on screen interactions with Roy and the other Pokemon in the latter half of Season 1. I wished they go in-depth with Kilowattrel looking up to Cap or include it in Roy's training. It has a neat relationship with Fuecoco and I would like to see more of it throughout the series.

Not to mention, why wouldn't The Explorers consider checking Diana's (Liko's grandmother) daughter and granddaughter knowing it was possible that either one of them could have ended up with the pendant if Diana did not have it on her person or in her care. The fact, Anne was the first person to have seen Liko's pendant and might have something to do with the Explorers' first attempt at stealing the pendant (i.e. Amethio and his allies finding Liko at the academy and attempting to take it back via tricking her into thinking her grandmother wanted it back and they came per her orders/request) does feel suspicious, but I still feel there is not evidence (other than correlation) to confirm her association with The Explorers.

Battling in Ash's era does play a huge role in his journey, however, him making friend with the people and pokemon also help him to be stronger and see the world. I think of Ash helping Charmander when it's flame was almost out, inspiring his friends in the XYZ anime, or spending time with Pikachu on an Island. A quote from the original extended japanese intro said it best "Yesterday's enemy is today's friend." and "Today's friend is also tomorrow's friend".

Those annihilape were already hitting each other and so hattrem simply dealt the finishing blow, Hattrem who then cures them reminded me of Unohana from Bleach, I liked the evolution of hatenna, especially if it means it will be used more, I can't wait to see the next episode for Ann's return!

Well I mean 2 of Annihilapes technically got re-energized when they evolved. And besides, due to how Annihilape's whole entire family species is, literal physical infighting amongst themselves is quite normal for them that I doubt their blows didn't really do much to each other. I mean when first Annihilape started Rage Fisting everyone from the HZ trio & its family troupe, the Mankeys & Primeapes still kept getting up & fighting each other

Fact: When Primape hit someone with Rage-Fist 20 times, they actually do evolve into Annihilape. This is also backed up by the Dexter entry that states that if Primape were to get too angry, the die, hence Annihilapes’s ghost type. So basically lives were literally lost during the battle! XD

The theory of Anne being an Explorer most likely originates from how similar Anne is to Sango (Coral in the English version) in terms of appearance, to the point of Anne being Sango in disguise. Now we know that isn't true.

Stypid premise, pokemon is a competitive turn-based rpg, true the story is important but the battles are the most important part of the game, the show not focusing on battling is nothing new all of ashes episodes were filled with side quests and storys where he had to solve issues caused by team rocket with it ending in a battle which is iconic this is why horizon feels so weird, alot of lore but they dont seem to be challenged regularly making it feel like a SOL.

I disagree with your take on the Annilape fight more interesting than the G moltres fight and rayquaza fight. Hz had a big theme of found family (not your typical shounen show), and the trio, especially Liko, has found her main goal of understanding emotions from RVT (that she never had when she was a child) to grow as a character. The writers did not take that for granted and use that to show RVT are a bunch of misfits that working towards the same goal, while suppprting each other. On the other hand, the explorers is a cooperative company, but each member has their own agenda and conflicts, which contrasts with RVT. That is why, in the first 2 chapters, and future arcs, are more group orientated show.

By the way, the first two arcs is designed to be as a group to develop each other (instead of the protagonist travelling alone). Each character has different backgrounds that work towards the commen goal. Adults and kids did inspire each other in the process, so calling the adults bailing out the kids is sort of missing the point for me.
