A Pokemon Jungle Booster Box is opened in this video. This is the 2nd booster box opening in my 19 booster box opening series I'm doing for the summer of 2017. This is part 1 of the booster box opening. This booster box was $701 from eBay.

In the Base Set booster box opening I did, all of the Vulpix cards I pulled were the fixed HP, there are more error Vulpix cards than corrected ones.

PrimetimePokemon than you must have had a 4th print Base Set box. Those holos are more valuable than regular unlimited due to the limited printing compared to the regular unlimited. The cards should have a 1999-2000 date not just 1999

PrimetimePokemon yeah I don't blame you. its fun. after I graduated college in 2010 I started buying single packs of gym hero's and gym challenge for about $4 a pack and i did buy a first edition box of each for around only $200 each. they are crazy expensive now. I doubt I'll ever open up more wizards of the coast cards but it'd be nice.

PrimetimePokemon Ah! I remember now, my sisters were trying to complete this set when I was young. They had a binder dedicated for those cards and I use to look through them all the time. I do believe that they were missing about 10 or more cards because there were a few that I don’t recall; Seaking, vaporeon, wigglypuff, nidoqueen and lickatung to name a few. I wonder where those cards went... I should ask. But with time, things tend to get lost. Thanks again Primetime. 😄

iehhj so excited this is where I am going to and my day with before sleeping! nice one PTP thanks for making it possible to look at pack openings every day, while all the other poketubers are nice you always stay calm don't use music put the cards down without ammediatly looking at the condition. you go through the packs slowly and give every card as much attention. you are fun to watch for a beginning collector like I once was, and are still really nice. The chances are like 99,99%. It will take some years but they will always go up in value.

Doubtful, the reason these have gone up so much in this current age is that the children and teenagers who were into pokemon in 1999-2000, are all in their late 20's-mid to late '30s. They are earning a good income and have children of their own. It's nostalgia to see their kids opening pokemon cards, brings them wanting to open or get these memories back too. Pokemon items will decline in price as this group of individuals gets older.

1st Edition Base Set is way rarer, so it isn't close.

What's the difference between first edition and unlimited? I wasn't alive in the 90s and I don't know a lot about the older cards

The first edition cards are worth a lot more, essentially the first edition print is the first so many cards produced from the Jungle set, each first edition card has a first edition stamp on it, there are just less first edition Jungle cards out there than unlimited print ones.

I have a question, my girlfriend gave me her old cards from when her and her little brother were little for Christmas this past year which was super awesome, and one of them was a jungle set Flareon holo. However, it feels much much thicker than any other cards, and is visibly thicker too, is it probably fake? All the other fake tests it seems to have passed
