Hey Dan about the Shinx that attacked you twice in this game you can actually use your moves in a certain way. "Agile Style" and "Strong Style." In the case of that Shinx im guessing it used quick attack in agile style. You can check the order of these moves by pressing "Y" in a battle. Hope this helps and have a good time playing Legends Arceus!

quick attack is actually a high priority move. in this game, moves like quick attack, mach punch, aqua jett, etc. sometimes allow you to move twice, reguardless of agile and strong style

I chose samurott because pretty much compatible with most of the new hisui forms and its good against 4/5 of the nobles. I didn't know this until right after I chose the water starter lol

It's actually so. Cool. Because we sort of had these concepts in the back of our mind (because of Pokedex entries, the lack of "normal" animals in the games, and some scenes in the anime) but this game really throws it at you and makes you feel like you're in a more realistic and darker place. When you can do ‘mystery gifts’ make sure you do the mystery gift that’s available it’s a mask (based off of hisui zorua) and kimono (based off of hisui Growlithe), it’s a limited time here’s a tip too: putting the galaxy team uniform on helps by a lot since it pretty much boosts your defence, you can dodge/cannonball off of small cliffs without getting hurt (makes travel, boss fights and Pokémon that attack you easier) but without the uniform you’d take more damage. Make sure you don’t go into rivers, too, you can drown and get sent back on shore but it wastes time. Another tip: If you see a M A S S I V E Pokémon with glowing red eyes, DO NOT encounter it. It means it’s an ‘alpha’ and they are pretty difficult to defeat. Unless I’m just scared of them because the first one I saw was a rapidash and my hands were sweaty irl lol (it was absolutely freaking terrifying)

I would really recommend going to the side quest board in the galaxy hall and choose the quest ‘a particular ponyta’ but I’m pretty sure you have to do a couple main quests from the story before you can do it but when you unlock it you can get a free shiny ponyta really easily

See, based on what Arceus says at the begining and how he phrases it........i don't think the mc is a character thrown back in time. I think it's supposed to be a person from like our world, who either has a basic or non existent understanding of pokemon, getting thrown into the pokemon world.....i hope that this is a trend if the "Legends" games becomes a series because that's a fun/interesting concept.
