The weird thing is that it makes sense: PL:A is the past version & PL:Z-A is the future version. The strangest thing was that the SV mons were listed after the PLA mons, not as their own thing, which kinda points to both Legends games & SV being 3 parts of the same time paradox triagle. Have you seen how the way they wrote ZA kinda looks like inverted SV?

I suspect that just like Legends Arceus this game takes place 200 years in the past, I say this because Paris went through a major urban redevelopment in the late 1800s and this could be a reference to that.

So i wanted to add. the game not only states that lumious will be a hub but will instead be basically the entire game. Which has me curious on how other pokemon will be found and how they will fill the city with life.

I always felt Mega-Evolution should been Zygarde's gimmic like Z-Moves were to Necrozma, Dina/Gigamax to Eternatus and Teracristalization to Terapagos, so there is a chance this could happen to and we get to have more lore about Zygarde revolving Mega Evolution! Hopefully they add new Megas. In a datamine was shown that it seems there was a plan for Mega-Jynx, hopefully there is a Mega-Jynx in Z-A to (and Megas for the Kalos Starters too and for the new regional starters.) This also means we finally get to catch Eternal Flower Floette!!!

Yeah the "redevelopment" part really has been confused on whether it is supposed to lie in the past or future. Given that AZ ruled 3000 years ago very prosperously, its not hard to believe Lumiose being an old city thousands of years old and so we redevelop it after the war. Or, it could very well be in the future post XY. Either way finally having Zygarde lore in Kalos is very exciting!

The digital art style of the trailer made it look like future Kalos and the restructuring of Lumios city, so maybe we're getting a glimpse at the start of the Violet Paradox world after terastalization and mega evolution meet or maybe it's just Zygarde's spotlight after being put back together in Alola? As much as I hope the legends series takes over as the main focus for a while, I don't know that this will be as ready as its phenomenal older sibling.

I feel like the trailer could be a “blueprint” for what the current Lumiose city looks like, not a futuristic version of it Also it says “urban” and i think that would apply to a village or town being reconstructed into a city

@kumi_dex possibly. Personally, I think I'd like it to be unearthing lost lore beneath the already existing city by finding some old dusty blueprints and tearing down a brick wall blocking the way to an underground cavern filled with Tera crystals and the ultimate weapon.

I think pokemon going down a good path with legends because a lot of Pokemon games especially recent games have been lacking in the plot department. So legends can be used to go back and help fix the plot

They did indeed throw a curve ball with that Legends game. I just wasn't expecting it to be Kalos. It was a shocker to me. 😮 But i am still excited for this new game! Hopefully it lives up to the hype! I can't wait to see more trailers and get more info/ details about Legends Z-A! 😊

I think the time period for this game may take place after lysandre's firing of his version of ultimate weapon. Remember, in pokemon Lure, there were 2 firings of the ultimate weapon. AZ's weapon and Lysandre's weapon 3000 years later. I suspect that lysandre's weapon did more damage to kalos than we first thought. It would also make sense why were stuck to only being in lumious city. Since lysandre's weapon probably destroyed it. Moreover, the energy from his ultimate weapon may be responsible for either the creation of alternative energy besides mega energy. Or the creation of "paradox" pokemon. Example roaring moon

I was just joking that we could get Kalos Gen 6 remake/game in some way, but this is really surprising for me. I guess we did get Unova remake in indigo disc dlc for Pokemon gen 9 games. This means that the next remakes we could get is Gen 8 in the future at some point.

The character designs should better be like XY with the same custom options mixed in. People are fine with "Do you want to play as a boy or a girl?" like from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX. The other features need to come back too. The National PokéDex, Exp. Share setting, overworld Ability effects, farming, Loto-ID, remtaches, and others should be featured.

I rather have gotten nothing. I already voice my dislike for Legends Arceus so I won't go into that again. The only positive is that Furfrou is likely be in it which means its now on a Switch game and maybe new pokemon. I hate that mega evolution return considering how broken it had made pokemon like Gengar, Alakazam, Salamence, Rayquaza, etc. And I am not looking forward to the possible Zygarde fight where we battle all forms back to back. But yeah, I don't like this game at all.

While I didn't predict this would happen, I did want them to skip Gen 5 and work on a Gen 6 remake cuz it desperately needed it, so I'm glad my wish came true. And if this counts as the remake, then I'm satisfied

Do you thinks it’s possible that because the blueprints seem old but the rest of the trailer seem futuristic, that we are someone who lives in the old Lumiose City that get Space-Time Distorted into the future? If you look at the map in the trailer it looks similar to the X&Y Lumiose City but WAY bigger, it looks like the city was expanded because the north and south boulevards are gone and there is a tone of separate buildings, so I think it’s likely that we travel to the future from the past (but not far to the future like 200 years) and explore the expanded Kalos region, I think it’s gonna be like Legends Arceus where we have different open world zones to explore, and the whole region will be expanded because it was said that a TON of things were scrapped from the base games like the power plant, so I think this game will be like a ORAS type remake with a separate story from the base building off that, but the Ultimate Weapon will be used again because it’s in the logo, the A in Z-A is that mint green tower with the base. And a final thing is that I think that like in the original X&Y we will get to pick a kanto starter, with a new regional form with its own mega because during this presentation they showed a 7-Star Tera raid event with Venusaur with the Ground Tera type, a Charizard with the Dragon Tera type, and a Blastoise with the Steel Tera type, kinda weird random types right? All of the 7 star raids except the original Decidueye, Samurott, and Typhlosion but they got those Tera types to BEAT there Hisuian forms, so either the new form Kanto Starters will have a secondary type of Ground, Dragon, and Steel, or be WEAK to those 3 types, so like a Venusaur with a secondary type of Electric, a Charizard that has a secondary type of dragon, and a Blastoise with a secondary type of Rock, or it could be other way around and the original Kanto Tera’s could be weak against the new one like Venusaur with a Ice, Charizard with Fairy, and Blastoise with Fighting as examples. Edit) what the fuck I just saw the Nintendo twitter post that it’s set entirely within Lumiose City, isn’t the whole thing about Pokémon that you go into the wild and catch wild Pokémon? Hopefully it’s just poorly worded and it’s story is entirely within Lumiose, if it wasn’t that then why would the ultimate weapon be on the logo, it’s in Geosenge town, PLEASE just be poorly worded the game would be so lame if we can’t go to the power plant or explore, I wanna explore and play a mainline Pokémon game and go into the wild and not play fucking detective Pikachu💀😭 no, terrain differences, no altitude differences, no biomes, no villages, no towns, no landmarks, bust a flat level City. They finally bring back Megan’s to waste it😭 game comes out in November of 2025, haven’t even told us about anything of the game other than Mega’s and being set in a single city, and this games already botched, doesn’t matter how good the story is if you can’t explore and find anything new, because what are you supposed to do after beating the story? Twiddle your thumbs? Like having ONE, A SINGLE CITY FOR A SIXTY DOLLAR GAME COMING OUT IN ROUGHLY TWO YEARS IS ASS. Such a disappointment.

So we know this is coming next year, but with their being no new Switch console this year we have to think: what's gonna be the big holiday title for Nintendo in 2024? I hate to say it for those who are big fans of Unova, but honestly it looks like the most we'd get this year are BW remakes by ILCA. This will fulfill a quota for Pokemon releases every year & would explain why GameFreak are able to hold the new Legends game until 2025.
