Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2 - Zero Isle West Mew Solo

Actually, the first time i cleared zero isle west was with mew alone. Anyway, taking a full team is recommended for clearing this dungeon.

Same there, that little Rotom discharged my whole team from nowhere. I spammed Sweet Kiss and Gravelerocks because my attack only did 1 damage. But not as frustrating as escorting a Seedot to Zero Isle Center.

Zero Isle West is a level 1 regression dungeon, so the pokemon level when entering doesn't matter. If you rushed through the dungeon, you usually end up at level 13-15 at the end of the dungeon. You can take a full team or use smoochum to make it easier.

You can recruit mew at mystery jungle. To battle mew, you cannot take any mission to mystery jungle (no mail icon beside the dungeon name). Mew has a recruit rate of 20%, so use amber tear or golden mask (friend bow is easier to find) to boost recruitment rate. The leader's level also boost the recruitment rate. Also, the leader pokemon must deal the final blow to mew (while holding recruitment rate boosting item). Keep trying until mew joins you.

Level 60-70 (before evolution) should be enough. Type advantage would make it easier, since most of the pokemon is grass type. For room moves, Silver Wind would be great there. For me, I just used starter and partner through the whole dungeon and equipped the friend bow I got from recycling.

Oh wow, the level-up stats for Mew have been pretty greatly changed compared to Blue/Red Rescue Team. He gains less HP, but the rest of the stats seem much better

Is IQ skills recommented and do they work in the Zero Isle dungeons?

Level up fast? Defeat as many enemies as possible or use Joy Seeds. I once had a similar mission as you. I confused the enemy, then throw Gravelerocks to bring it down.
