A better Speed IV training place is Route 18, it's close to a pokemon center just in case your pokemon get really injured and plus almost everything there gives Speed IVs, except doduo, just like diglett's cave having a chance of running to makuhita; that close heal is why I think it's better

route 29 spawns mostly Raticate (2 speed evs) and Pidgeot (3 speed evs) but also spawns Hoothoot and Sentret (both uncommon )

Route 16: Kill everything besides doduo and snorlax and get all of the juicy speed EVs you want Route 12: Kill only Pidgey and maybe get a snorlax

nice but imo, route 16 is better for speed ev training just so you can hunt lefties while doing so. they both have an uncommon that give 2 speed, a potential you would want to avoid that gives attack, but then there's a very small chance for snorlax to spawn. some people might see this as a bad thing for route 16 since you might mess up speed evs with snorlax but i'd gladly use an ev reset if it means i have a chance to make a 1.7kk profit.
