Btw that was a foreshadow of the ending. Houndoom, a fire type, corners a helpless Pokémon and Spencer’s selfless sense of duty makes him choose neither side to ensure the safety of both Pokémon. The same could be said for Entei. A confused and angry Entei, a fire type, corners a helpless evil old man, and you, the Pokémon ranger, must choose neither side to help save both of them. Plus what I mean by choosing sides: You had the choice to allow Entei to maul the old man, or take control of Entei to prove Gordon’s theory of controlling Pokémon against their will, but instead you choose just to calm the beast down to where it can think at a rational level. Both saving the old man and not falling for his views on controlling Pokémon against their will.

No other boss in Pokemon Ranger has been as epic in my eyes as the final battle against Entei - except from my battle against Arceus in Guardian Signs^^

I agree, but the final battle against Entei was much more difficult^^ But in general Tyranitar can actually handle Entei, especially since it can mega evolve and use Dragon Dance. Dragon Dance Mega Tyranitar is a powerful sweeper. Paralyze or burn it or take it down quickly! Because if you don't have a faster Dragon Dancer that has already been boosted by Dragon Dance Mega Tyranitar will destroy most of your Pokemon, if not all of them! A faster Dragon Dancer would be Mega Charizard X, for example. Or Mega Rayquaza of course, but Mega Rayquaza is too OP for OU tier. Another good option would be Choice Scarf Terrakion with Close Combat or Choice Scarf Landorus-Therian with Earthquake. But be aware of the fact that Mega Tyranitar can use Earthquake (which is super effective against Terrakion) and Ice Fang (which is super effective against both Terrakion and Landorus, but Landorus has a 4x weakness against it)!

And this is why I love Entei the most, Noble proud and strong I seriously think he is the leader of the legendary beasts of Johto just saying. Alot of people say Suicune but honestly when we compare the defensive capability it's quite easy to say Entei is the more versatile both defensively and offensively.

I don't remember much about Entei from Ranger. I recall facing him in all Ranger games, yet the og I can't remember. Shadows of Almia was hardest for me, as I couldn't beat him, and I lost the cartridge. I like Entei. Someone said Raikou was Speed, Suicune serenity, and Entei destruction. While that's true, listening to this gives a different meaning. *Orderly* destruction. Balance.

This game shows that Entei is by far the most awesome member of the legendary beasts. Why the hell do all the other games involving the beasts focus mainly on suicune?

You nailed it! Suicune is cool, but according to the stats Entei is far stronger than Suicune. Suicune can take more damage, but Raikou and Entei can deal more damage and Suicune still lacks in its defensive stats if you ask me. Plus, Raikou is much faster than Entei and Suicune and Entei can learn more different powerful moves than the other two legendary dogs. I'd say Suicune is the weakest member of the trio, but I could also be mistaken right now!

It could be seen as having Suicune be serene like ice, Raikou being fast as lighting and Entei being as destructive as fire. So in a way they correspond to their elements to be able to bring out their true potential

it really is a shame that entei is so comically weak in comparison to the other two. Entei is low tier. Raikou is mid tier. Suicune is high tier.
