Av Nitro I don't hear a darkness from this song I hear a lingering sadness that pairs well with the sorrow for losing a loved one. The da da da da makes me feel "what to do now?" While the louder music is the world moving on around you.

So many people on the various remixes seem to talk about this song be unsettling, or even terrifying. Personally, I find it calming instead. I used to listen to the original on my GB as a kid to help calm down at night so I could sleep. Anyways, awesome remix! Definitely one of the best for this song.

At 3:06 I felt somehow a relief, like standing in the rain at night looking up at the sky with the arms wide open, crying but feeling only relief, and the song goes on, it repeats the main verse and i feel like i need more of it, then I felt like screaming, yelling to let it all out, I don't know what exactly, but thanks to this arrangement I discovered there seems to be something that was taken away from me. if lavender town were to have a horror game, i feel like it would encompass less of needing to escape a monster, and more of needing to understand what happened. discovering an abandoned town overgrown with rot while hearing noises whcih could have just been the wind would keep anyone one edge. i feel like it would work much more in atmosphere and a sense of wonder rather than jumpscares and monsters.

A little game where you're just a humble worker trying to put a Pokemon graveyard back in order while uncovering the tragedy that led to its delapidated state. Clearing overgrowth from grave markers...matching empty Pokeballs back to their memorial stands...lighting incense burners...comforting and caring for orphaned Pokemon...and on 100% completion, the graveyard is reopened to the public, and you get to walk through and see trainers visiting their beloved Pokemon and leaving offerings.

@ivanaguila13 team rocket took over the town. This town is known for its tower that holds the final resting places of hundreds of Pokémon, who don’t like that team rocket is using the tower as their hideout and not allowing people to visit their graves. Now said Pokémon are angry ghosts wandering around the tower. One of which is a marowak who was killed by team rocket and her orphaned cubone was forced to wear her skull. In the history of all the Pokémon games, Lavender Town is by far the scariest town to visit.

When you learn about the gruesome and horrific massacre at the hands of Team Rocket that took the lives of almost every person and Pokémon in the town.
