iRead, this is amazing! I was so looking forward to the release of your video, and this puts the biggest smile on my face! 😊 Between the interactive video, the heartwarming description, and of course our collaborative mix, it really brings me a lot of joy! I love the way you made Lillie and her Alolan Vulpix dance to the beat, and having them bounce at key moments in the percussion is such a fun detail. I like how they pop up separately with the pairs of cymbal crashes, and simultaneously with those beautiful reverbed snaps. And the jump animations are great - for instance, there's a little bit of movement with Vulpix right before the jump, like it's hunkering down before leaping upwards. And I love all the dynamic motion in the background and foreground elements, as well - the way the waves move at different speeds and intensities, the varying cloud movement speed, and the characters' motions really make the scene come to life! The day-to-night transition is super smooth, too, and I adore how the stars all fly into the sky at different speeds and angles, like a burst of confetti - it's super charming and makes it feel like a pop-up storybook! 🌟 And man, I really can't say enough about the music and how well things came together! From that very first clip you sent of the percussive parts in the early stages of the project, I was hooked, and it each new iteration just got me even more excited. I'd go on for ages if I mentioned every single thing I enjoyed about the percussive parts, but some of my favorite features are those robust tom fills throughout, the groovy bongos/congas in the day section, and the way the instrumentation changes _so_ seamlessly between the day and night versions - and not just in terms of instrumentation, but rhythm, too! It just has such an amazing flow, and I have to mention those crisp finger snaps at 0:55 and 1:58 (with the accompanying animations) again, because they really make those breaks in the music! I've said it a bunch already, and I'll continue to say it - the level of detail and care you put into all of your parts is remarkable, and your ability to synergize with your fellow collaborators is unreal. On that note, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you've done. I'm grateful to have been able to work with you on this remix, and I appreciate how gracious, encouraging, and accommodating you've been throughout the endeavor. And what you wrote in the description was incredibly touching, and it means more than I can say that my comments have been a source of positive energy for you. I'm also really happy to know that the enthusiasm I hope my comments convey also came through in my excitement and appreciation for this opportunity! And thank you also for your kind mention of Kali - we were both delighted to see the artwork being used so creatively! This remix is so CLEAN, groovy, and joyful! You and Equalyze have managed to create a track that both embodies relaxation and energizing vibes at the same time! I love the bouncy groove the bassline has to offer and when coupled with PHENOMENAL percussion, I just have to move to the music! The instrumentation through the remix is BEAUTIFUL! My mind is absolutely blown! :O I am completely blown away from the visual display here! :D I know this comment is VERY late, I had a pretty tough past 5+ months. But I'm happy to finally be able to share my thoughts on this remix now! :)
