fun fact, Foil Helium Balloons typically last up to 3 - 5 weeks. So the fact that the Pikachu balloon is still going strong after 3 months is nothing short of a miracle. I personally hope that Pikachu continues to stick around until Nobles NEXT B-Day.

9:34 The reason for it is probably because back in gen 2 they wanted to keep starters rare, so they didn't want people breeding them easily. Same with eevee and fossils. The problem is that tradition not only went against the trade mentality they wanted to foster, but it also super obsolete because of how easy it is to bypass nowadays. That Pokemon you didn't recognize is the fusion between Kyurem and Zekrom, known as Black Kyurem. There is also its counterpart, which is the fusion between Kyurem and Reshiram, which is known as White Kyurem. Its basically supposed to be 2/3'rds of the Original Dragon Pokemon, which is a long story... Gen 5 was craaaaaazy, and introduced quite a lot to the series.

Looking at the Pokemon with that same 7:1 Male to Female Ratio, barring Combee and Salandit there is a distinct pattern. They're basically all Gift Pokemon or Gift Egg Pokemon. The only reason I can think of for doing this(since it started in Gen 3) is to make breeding them slightly more difficult.

I am pretty sure the reason for the Starter (And Eevee) gender ratio is to do with breeding and to make it 'not too easy' to breed starters. Which has always been kinda BS due to Ditto, or just save scumming till you get a female.

The reason that Zoroark can’t have the Protean ability, or any ability besides illusion, is because it messes with the illusion of its whole gimmick. That’s why Arceus seemed like the weirdest game to give a Zorua/Zoroark variant too. Yes it looks great, but what’s the point of the illusion Pokémon if it can’t make itself an illusion?

9:45 umm... yes Noble, all (almost all) starters and fossils, their ratio is 87% to 13%, male to female. Even Eevee and all its evolutions (which kind of bugged me about seeing the Unite thing myself, especially my boy Umbreon... what have they done to you?), and thus Pikachu is the only starter not with this should we count Eevee. Being Ash's starter, the Yellow starter, and a starter in PE (Yellow remakes) Pikachu is a starter more than Eevee, yet its gender ratio unlike all other starters is 50/50... Yet gen 6 to now there has to be at least 1 feminine looking starter... why? Kind of bugs me, Delphox I make an exception, it is a wizard even if its prevo Braixen is a witch... meanwhile Primarina I just... why? But that would mean Pokemon Infinite Fusions could have been canon if Gamefreak had made it instead of some fan. And regardless, fusing pokemon really does just make sense in a way. Idk how the dev(s?) of Infinite Fusions made fusions so believable that im actually questioning whether fusions could actually be canon or not.
