Hypnosis however has had many comics revolving around it, most of which seem to be them using other pokemon through a trainer or few. Fun fact: Malamar actually can and has done this canonically, or something similar. :D

If it's any consolation, Noble, I used a femboy Lopunny in my recent run of Platinum, and it ended up being my second most valuable team mate, being used to beat every Gym up until Volkner, which is when I finally evolved my Gabite into Garchomp and started to overlevel it until by the time I got to Cynthia it was 21 levels above Giratina. Then I used Garchomp to sweep the elite four and half of Cynthia's team. Good times.

You know it wouldnt be that odd for ditto to be in the game considering every other object that doesnt belong in that game is literally falling out of time rifts like upgrade metal coat dubious disk and so on. Ditto would be the most normal thing to appear from a time space distortion.

@@GrayscaleCanvas probably but considering ditto itself is pretty harmless. Its only when it transforms it can be a problem. More over it can transform into anything even inanimate objects so I can imagine they would warm up to it quite a bit after awhile due to how useful it would be.

There was a group in USUM called the Ditto Five who transformed into people and the police asked for your help to capture them because they were "messing up people relationships." Sure theres people who do have pokemon but they were far and few between. Pokemon training wasnt a culture before the player arrived. So its pretty understandable that people would he afraid of pokemon in the same way people in this world are afraid of wild animals.
