Here's a lil' tidbit about the Stadium 2 Mini-Games: If you connect one of the GB games (RBY, GSC, doesn't matter) to Stadium 2 via the Transfer Pak, you'll unlock other Pokemon for some of the mini-games! You'll get Omanyte for Tumbling Togepi, Girafarig for Furret's Frolic, and Scizor for Clear Cut Challenge. You can also unlock Pikachu for Pichu's Power Plant (not sure why you'd do that when Pichu is perfection in a Baby Pokemon), but only if you connect Pokemon Yellow. Sadly, all this being locked behind the Transfer Pak means you ain't getting these special 'mons in the Switch ports. Only on N64 or a [TOTALLY LEGAL NINTENDO 64 MACHINE] that has Transfer Pak functionality built-in.

Fun fact about this game’s minigame- some of them allowed for alternate Pokemon to be used if you had one in a connected Game Boy game (mainly GSC, though it might work with RBY in some cases?) You could use Girafarig in Furret’s Frolic, Scizor in Clear Cut Challenge, Pikachu in Pichu’s Power Plant, and strangely enough Omanyte in Tumbling Togepi.

Since I am both a massive Pokémon fan and nerd, I will enlighten you on some fun facts about some of the Pokémon of this game: 1. The reason Pichu gets hurt by lightning is because as Pichu they don’t know how to control their electricity like how Pikachu and Raichu can. 2. In the delibird mini game those aren’t pilloswines, their Swinub which is the pre evolution of pillowswine, and they have a final evolution called mamoswine. Anyways that is all. Nice video.
