Cuz he used nonrentals. Game is not hard with your own Pokémon. Try beating it with rentals, especially when rentals have no EV training and base stats

Halo Love, he didnt cheat. He just used his gameboy team, which makes Pokemon Stadium much, much easier.

Well I will admit that round 2 was a bit of a challenge with non rentals (round 1 was too easy, the only thing that gave me trouble was the pika cup dragon rages) But unlike the uploader here, I didnt use the “best” pokemon. Gen 1 was notorious with having a literal small group of viable pokemon while the rest were either garbage or only had a gimmick. The poke he used here are considered the “generals” of RBY aka the strongest/most viable poke for tournament play. The only legendary I used was Articuno, but a non rental one with max stats in gen 1 can obliterate almost anything not Chansey, Mewtwo or water types

Oh well though, that's a minor complaint lol, and has nothing whatsoever to do with you or your phenomenal performance on this classic game. You've actually inspired me to save up my money towards purchasing my own N64, Pokemon Stadium, Pokemon Yellow, and a N64 Game Boy Color Transfer Pak.

Yup, this proves that as long as you make the good calls while creating your own party (rentals or not), is totally possible to beat it without having to use Mewtwo (and an own Mew, because the rental is not exactly the best one of course). Obviously the RNG is always a factor that can destroy you or the AI (the 1st case for the most part is the most likely outcome), but managing 8 straight victories (4 of them with the 1-up bonus for having the 3 selected pokemon with health at the end of the fight) without Mewtwo is awesome.

@@aceclover758 That's excellent, I also have done that too, not an easy task of course, again, as long as you make the good calls (sometimes you have to do some trial and error, and from time to time... Being RNG blessed) is very possible.

You did really, really good mate. The only thing I'm somewhat disappointed by, and this has nothing to do with you lol... is that the R2 Master Ball Levels and what not don't have their Pokemon have perfect stats and stat experience. The Mew in the final battle was a good indicator of this, having 389 HP instead of the ever vaunted 403 that is the gen 1 Mew's species maximum.
