Here's a nuzlocke idea. Pokemon Sword with sword/blade Pokemon. The way it is defined is either: 1. It uses a sword/blade; or 2. It has a sword/blade as part of its body. If you wish to add more to the definition, go ahead 🙂 Edit: I used Volcarona to sweep Leon in an "All White Pokemon Nuzlocke" that I did. Had to set-up Stealth Rock and Reflect first. Had to also make Aegislash sleep as well. When those are done, I used Quiver Dance to max out the stats and wiped every Pokemon Leon had.

If you caught a sizzlipide where you caught the rollycoly and instead you caught the carkol or rollycoly in the cave you could get 1 extra early encounter at the gym, since both litwick, sizzlipide and vulpix are found in there.

The water gym is possible even without torkoal: carkoal can live a hit from goldeen, and knock it and arrocuda out with it's speed boost, also if you catch a rolycoly in the false mines, you can catch a sizzlepede on route 3 just to have more Pokemon
