Maybe good to know, in this version it's easier to get a shiny starter (if anyone is interested). You don't have to reset the game, but instead you can refuse to accept the starter until you get a message that the Pokeball is sparkling. I got a shiny Cyndaquil this way. I really love this game!

I’m 90% sure you can get starters in the different pokemarts with points. The different towns have different Pokemon with points too

I would go with Totodile as water/dragon is an insane type, especially as a starter, anyone who has played a johto game knows how hard it is to take down that type combination thanks to someone's kingdra

Voltsy if you restart and then keep clicking on and backing out of the starter you choose you could get a shiny starter pokemon cause by constantly backing out and clicking again you will get a message saying the ball is sparkling

It's 1/100 shiny odds for starters so after enough time you will get it to say the ball is sparkling if you interact and back out enough

You can get all starters after chapter 15, but you'll have to grind a lot for them, you'll have to buy them with tps and starters are expensive

Was debating between Cyndaquill and Snivy, and ultimately didn't want Cyndaquil because it's new ability is rivalry as opposed to drought, which is what I wanted on it, so I was going to get snivy, but while looking for snivy I accidentally got a Shiny fennekin so here we are.

Hey Voltsy just wanted to say that when you were picking the satrter and you were at Scorbunny (at 13:40), the game said "Huh? The Pokeball is sparkling!" meaning that it was a shiny Scorbunny. And the odds for the shiny starter are 1/100s and for wild encounters is 1/400 iirc

This will be a hard choice, a lot of those starters are wonderful, and i LOVE fakemons so i have the same problem as you, having a full team at the start of the game xD I'll have plenty of time to think about it before playing

@@HeroVoltsy ok, after a nice thinking, I've shorten the list to these ones: - bug treecko (seems very cool, and I hope it gains a new type on evolution) - ghost/fight torchic (birdlike ability don't exist in normal games so I'm curious) - psychic/steel snivy (looks so cool) -electric/sound grookey (sound type is new) - fire/ghost cyndaquil (looks cool) - water/psychic quaxly (mind tuning is a new ability) - Flying ralts (flying with lightning rod, so electric immunity, seems nice. Also looks cool and I wonder what the final Evo will be) Considering you can have multiple save files, I will probably try a few of them with time xD Torchic/quaxly I will just see what the ability does and list them off, this leaves me with 5. I think the top 3 is treecko, snivy and ralts. These will be my 3 playthrough I guess. I was trying to think of the encounters you got and I will get that budew

You charmander's hidden power should be something that's strong against steel as the rock and fairy type is 4x week to steel

I had the great idea to start a ghost monotype run with a set battle style. You can only have two ghosts, the level cap is eight and Murkrow seems a bit invincible with its damned pursuit! 😅

Seen a playthrough (not fully) on this game. Before the update was released. It's a real good game. Lots of regionals/Fakemon/forms and cool story. You'll have a grant time. So definitely fun to see you play this game with this version. I checked if I had a save file, and I did. With quite the mons in already. Not real far in the game and won't spoil anything of what i've seen earlier.

For the most part with fan games it’s just download the new game and launch it not much needed so you can delete the old files to save space BUT make sure it’s all good before deleting! That is the usual! Some games are different so make sure to check the creators forum page or discord for information

It's not a romhack it's a fan game. Has to be played on pc or joiplay for android but it needs some tweaking for joiplay
