Megumin is a character from Konosuba. Her one and only move is making a big explosion, so the Braxian is very accurate 😂

Yeah, that Braixen is extremely accurate. Megumin is a very powerful mage who pretty much stunted her potential by only using Explosion. She dumps all of her MP into setting off what's pretty much a nuclear blast, then faceplants from exhaustion.

The only reason I haven't played more of this game is the fact that I'm too busy playing the developer's other game, Reminiscence. The setting and characters of that one are just super charming to me and I adore the dungeon-crawling feel of it compared to the modern Pokemon experience I've gotten so used to over the years. That said, I *have* been meaning to actually play Realidea further through.

Another incredible fangame I think DESERVES attention is Pokemon/Project Vanguard. The Story is awesome you get attached to characters, it has over 1000 pokemon and lots of regional variants

Games I personally played and can recommend (top 5): 5 - Pokemon Unbound. It's nice. A lot of needed things are hidden in houses sadly, so you HAVE to talk to everyone to advance. Great game though. 4 - Pokemon Infinity. Good game overall. Very little I can say to it. Great story. Maybe a little short but has some postgame. 3 - Pokemon Sage. Super lovely intro pixel 3d animated. Not fully completed to my knowledge, but in development for a long while. 2 - Pokemon Vanguard. Ambitious little project still in development. 1 - Pokemon Tectonic. The absolute goat. All the lovely Quality of Life that pokemon lacks. So much to do, so much love. A lot of it has been redone to be more fair and balanced, and isnt for everyone, but if you give it a try, you'll love it. I guarantee.

The only minus things about this games was sometimes Pokémon sprites doesn't appear when in battle or following. Unfortunately. Also the exp. points way too small.

They really aren’t tbh, the pokemon company are making pretty good pokemon games before 3d their 2d games were pretty good and the remakes look even better, but because they focus on 3d and open world we get what we got, violet and scarlet isn’t a bad game but it’s not that physical appealing, keep in mind there is more data they have to sift through when they make a 3d game on top of open world then a 2d game that has linear pathing. Legends arceus looks great as well as the remake mystery dungeon as well.

Yeah, I feel like they’re missing good storylines for the characters. I get that they let that go to focus more on what “Pokémon is supposed to be about”- to them mainly focusing on training Pokémon from a first person pov which is why the character we choose is a cookie cutter Jane/ John character 🙄😐 they can add more element to the Pokémon, they’re just scared to gamble it especially the PG rate of the games in general since their main focus audience is 7 yo. I still feel like it’s no excuse, you can still expand on the Pokemon with great character stories and adventures. I know they also try to stay true to how the original games were first set up with the cookie cutter personal characters but it’s no excuse now- they can do so much better with the video game franchise.

really cool fangame: i played a year ago and from the beggining until the start of the midgame (4th badge) it's a 10/10: the characters, landscapes, soundtracks (i loved route 5 and all the area around the 2nd gym), sidequests, THE HUMOR which is slick, some plot twists, but i must say that the last part of the game, specially the road to the pokemon league is so UNDERWHELMING and also all that it's between badges 5-7 you got the 3 of them too quiclky in my opinion, i'm sorry it seemed like they run out of ideas, just for that and a few more things it's not a 10 but i definetly recommend playing it.

The mainline games were visual good, I mean look at remastered mystery dungeon absolutely beautiful, it’s just people want 3d and open world now that we get the game we got now, they are as bad as people think(legends arceus looked beautiful as well) violet and scarlet could have been worked on more I guess but that was literally their first attempt at an open world on the switch in 3d, these are not the same people that make BOTW like people seem to think so they don’t have the experience, either way I think they did good for their first attempt and no legends arceus is not their first attempt because it’s not open world.
