I bet that Iron Leaves was the Virizion from the Sword and Shield but all legendaries playthrough but mechanicalized. I think this because Virizion always came back and was shiny near the end of John's journey in Galar. Iron Leaves always came back (not in every team but he didnt go away permanently) and was shiny near the end of John's team in this playthrough.

If you count the mythicals as legendaries too, then about 10% of all Pokemon are legendaries. I'd initially agreed with you, but got curious about the numbers. We're at a little over 1,000 Pokemon in total, and theres a bit over 100 legendaries; at least if you count special ones like Volcanion, Magerna, Shaymin, etc. I thought it'd be way lower than that, but it's actually a 1 in 10 chance, which is just CRAZY to think about! Pretty interesting, if you ask me.
