The entire teraleak proves that all gamefreak needs is some time and much better management. Every video I see they're always like, "Why did they cut that" "why didnt they put this in" it's probably the same reason a lot of major game developers suck rn. They're being rushed, and the managers are definitely forcing them to remove cool stuff to make it "easily accessible". Edit: fixing misspells and grammar

It’s because Pokémon is a huge franchise with trading cards, toys, anime, etc… that need to be released at a certain date, & they can’t do that if the game hasn’t released, which is why the game gets rushed with all sorts of bugs & problems because you’re right, they’re literally being rushed to get these games out every 2-3 years

That Team Flare grunt in place of the fire type Elite 4 trainer might be connected to the fact that the final game's Malva is actually a Team Flare member. Either GF knew from the getgo they wanted that twist, or this placeholder inspired some lore later down the road, I lean towards the former.

It’s nice to finally see some proper footage of this build. I’ve only seen screen caps and brief clips so far. It’s extremely interesting, and a little upsetting since the potential these games had is so prominent. I’m personally a huge fan of gen 6 so I’m glad to see someone showcasing this stuff. I suggest dumping the romfs and see what cool stuff you can find in there as thats where the games files are, also 1,000 volts is thunder bolt, translating jp kanji to english doesnt give you the localized US equivalent, so for example: ケーシィtranslates to Casey, in english but was localized as Abra in America

Those Ballon fights were cool I remember I did those for EV training but this is different cause it explodes and has HP...the EV one are balloons that deflate...I wish they kept this in..unless they replaced it with the EV training stuff

I was like 8 and I can’t do them for my life now but somehow they were like super easy for me as a kid when it came out. I had a team full of max EV pokemon but didn’t even know what types were let alone anything about stats and how they worked

I tried exploring the game without using the debug menu, and found that if you enter lumios city through the bottom you get a map that's playable, although still very limited. Also, certain things in the mansion have changed: like the front gate is entirely missing and they charge whats her name the 1000 pokedollars instead of you on entry, there's a weird camera angle in the middle hallway room on the second floor thats different from release (reminds me of undertale), theres a big unused empoleon statue in the entry way, in the second floor right wing farthest right door, theres an unused painting of a man we never see in the official release, and the furforu catching task in the back garden is broken because the furforu just keeps walking through her. The exeggutor in your party is holding a master ball. Your rival is actually just named "your rival", and professor sycamores name has not changed. Oh yeah, and there was a weird trainer who's dialog just said something like," Place holder! Sount test!" On the route to lumios city, even though most trainers seem to have actual dialog before and after that guy.

I forgot to mention theres a clothing store in the first town with an NPC who actually changes your clothes if you talk to them, but theres still no way to access the clothing UI, or change your clothes back after they change them for you.
