For Charizard to win the whole thing is still another reason why it baffles me that people don't think that card(deck) is good enough to win a tournament. When it's the best card in the format. Maybe not the best deck but it's definitely the best card.

@@katbiremanliveBro it’s busted as is. It’s a repeating computer search every turn on a colorless attacker. In a deck that runs 4 candy anyway you lose next to nothing. You don’t even have to choose what Pokemon you evolve turn 2. You just use pidgeot grab another candy and evolve both. I think my problem with the deck is how mindless the games are. Is like back in the day you just pull a card from your deck and say: i have more HP I win. That’s how mindnumbingly easy it is to play. I get they want to sell packs and that Zard is their starboy. But talk about pushed… I’ve played ptcg since the Base-Fossil days and in all that time I’ve seen 2 cards that are more insane. (Sneasel, Cleffa) any deck that plays Rare candy should just jam Pidgeot. There’s no reason not to. Did I mention 0 retreat cost.

Charizard vs Palkia game 1, Zard just needed a boss for game either way regardless if the Palkia player used Greninja or Palkia for the first attack. The announcers made it sound like using Palkia avoided that out. But the Palkia player had terapagos and Fezandipiti ex on bench. So all he needed was Boss.
