I believe that the set shown in the thumbnail is one of the sets that was donated to Indonesia. The set that you rode was donated to the Philippines in 2011-2012. As of writing this comment, MoHa 203-12 is currently active and is the 5th-end coach of the PNR EMU 04/01.

As a former citizen along the railway line, I am glad that I am active.

The great news is, PNR EMU (Set) 04/01, which is where MoHa 203-12 currently is configured at, is going to receive a new livery soon :)

I'ma explain quickly the status and formations of the 203 Series EMUs in the Philippine National Railways. Before the 203 Series EMUs entered service in the PNR Metro Commuter line, they went under some few modifications like a generator set added on each head car (KuHa 202 or KuHa 203) of each 'set', the purpose of a generator set placed inside on each head car of the EMUs is to maintain and power the important necessities inside the EMU like lights, doors, and the airconditioning. PNR did these few modifications to the EMUs since the PNR still has no overhead catenary system to power electric trains. Since the PNR still runs on diesel as of this comment, these EMUs needed locomotives to haul them from Point A to Point B. As the EMUs entered service in the PNR Metro Commuter line, a 'set' is configured in 4-Car formation. Since late-2013 to 2014, active sets of 203 Series EMU in PNR were upgraded to 5-Car formation. As of writing this comment, there are three active 203 Series EMUs on the PNR Metro Commuter Line, EMUs 04/01, 06/02, and 07/08. (There's an explanation to why the set numbers are like this but it's a long one.) Here are the configurations: •EMU 04/01: KuHa 203-4, MoHa 203-10, MoHa 202-15, SaHa 203-6, MoHa 203-12 •EMU 06/02: KuHa 202-3, MoHa 202-9, MoHa 203-9, SaHa 203-9, MoHa 202-12 •EMU 07/08: KuHa 202-107, MoHa 202-10, MoHa 203-13, SaHa 203-9, MoHa 202-119
どいたしまして。 Anyways, that train is now serves as an ordinary passenger cars and hauled by the Diesel Electric Locomotive. Then powered by the generator set mounted at the back of the control cab in the head coach. Now its livery will be change and its protective screens and original glass were gone. Replaced fiber class.
