Okay I got into poker during the 2020 quarentine and holy crap this skit is perfect. Like someone on the crew clearly watched several hours of tournament play and took notes.

Yep, it's also how poker sounds normally, so I may not have gotten the full benefit.

See Lamont's big mistake was following up the Splish with a Splash. It's easy to bait new players into Taking a Bath from there, but these are the pros here. He should have known that Elway would go for a Twist. The Flip was an okay attempt at recovery,but by then the damage was done. The Gargle was pretty gutsy, but Elway was probably pretty sure he had won at that point anyways.

I can't believe Lamont missed that Sally's needle with a Joker-minstrels combo on the seventh flug!
@TheCrosshare9 жыл бұрын
willofbob Can't really blame for that, the most logical thing to assume is that the other player has the librarycard and would reverse flug with a weeping willow.
@Tha3l8 жыл бұрын
Weren't flunges revised in the '97 Shepherd Decrease?
@TheCrosshare8 жыл бұрын
Robo9400 I don't like the new rules coming out in 2017. The whole switch from flunge mechanics back to '99 flup style makes the Knuckle way too important and any inconsistent flaps will totally ruin the un if somebody manages to bring in a knuckleback combo.
@Tha3l8 жыл бұрын
Oh wow, don't get me started on the hip-hop rebranding. My main strategy, the Casual Joker Flash was unplayable for decades!

They would need a huge overhaul. We played those rules for a month at my local casino. All I can say is - try using those rules with some friends and always tingle the hipper. You'll see what I mean.

Yeah, but if Lamont had held out until the reshuffle, there was a chance of Capernicous coming up in the knuckle, giving him extra hitpoints for a shot at the Big Dive. It was a claculated risk.

Yeah, but still he should have gone with a Slice rather than a Flip, it would've gotten less points in the long run but it would be much safer, and he'd probably be less likely to have Elway try a Gargle.

See, I'd be better with THIS poker than actual poker. and THAT is sad... I was expecting someone to literally bet the farm. Like, one of those Fisher-Price miniature farms with the buttons that made the animal noises? You know, just lays it down on top of the memory card with compromising pictures of Gandhi, hits one of the buttons as his hand slinks out of frame.
