I built a 40 big blind chart-based cash game strategy that takes advantage of poker population errors. Perfect for those that prefer a straightforward math-based strategy! automaticpoker.com

Thanks! I apologize for the layoff. However, I am working on the 2nd book again and will be making videos (based on what I am writing) as I go. Let me know if there's any specific subject you'd like covered.

I know you have a job and a family so you have only so much time.Imo at least post something in the blog just to show us fans you are there,being busy with something.If possible, try to cover short stack strategies with 40-50bb since some poker rooms wont allow less than this buyin. Other than that keep up the good work, I anticipate the second book with automatic poker strategies suitable for the 2018 poker insanity.
@AutomaticPoker7 жыл бұрын
Okay, will try to be better about that, thanks for the advice. I have been meaning to do a 40-50bb strategy video, will add that to the agenda. Book two will mostly be focused on adjusting to table dynamics and lines to use accordingly.

Great idea.Also some updated charts according to initial stack depth and keep in mind that many among us cant play at soft poker rooms being almost solely able to play on pokerstars and ACR where competition is tougher.

dimitrismaster okay, good idea.. plan to have a section in the book ok tackling tough games, along with a hud and charts with numerous levels of adjustments, including flatting in the blinds, flatting 3bets, etc

I started playing 2/5 in January 2022 and after 900 hours I have a win rate of 4.6 big blinds per hour. The game I play in is an $800 max and I buy in for $600. What level do you think I’m at if I’m beating the game for that many big blinds per hour, and what are some ways I can improve to get myself to the 7 to 10 bb/ hour?
@AutomaticPoker Жыл бұрын
If you are beating the rake and making money, that means you are destroying the other players.. so well done. I think the best way to start increasing the win-rate is to make sure you have GTO sound core or vacuum ranges. You need a strategy that is as unexploitable as possible. Then, you can make targeted adjustments to the extreme tendencies of your opponents. Basically, you increase or decrease your frequencies to counter the increased or decreased frequencies of your opponents. My courses teach this, but it's a short stacking strategy so it might not be for you. I recommend looking into Red Chip Poker. Their courses are awesome on this front. Listen to their podcast first, though.. it's gold.

The movie is based the famous classic novel with same title by the Oscar winning screen writer William Goldman, and is even better than the movie because your imagination paints all the superb story.

However, if you are a level three player and you act like a level zero player in the beginning it will throw your opponents off and they will play loose therefore you can take advantage of them. Or maybe that only works in the game of Chess!

Enter Magnus playing stuff like 1. h4 and sometimes 1. f3 followed by using like six moves to walk his king from e1 through f2 around in front of his pawns, through c2 (having also played c3 at some point in this mess), and getting the king to end at d1... and then winning the game in less than 30 moves, against a title opponent.

The video I posted about what I call "Princess Bride Syndrome" and although I used the same imagery, and scene, and back ground for the slide show, I come at this from a different angle and these two videos would probably work together. His as a way to think about levels and mine as a warning to not get tangled up in it. You don't hide from the police in the station and because "they'd never think you would do that" right? Don't be silly w this stuff Hey, I'd be interested in a calibration w Automatic Poker if you are into it.

Navonod on NLH (New School Poker) Hey thanks for commenting. Will watch some of your videos when I get back from vacation and get back to you. Especially interested in your princess bride take. Part of my conclusion was also to not take this leveling stuff too seriously, just be aware of it and just learn how different player types think.. fish/reg/maniac mentality, etc. Thanks for the offer!

Is it ever worth pretending to be a level 0 player in order to throw opponents off? (btw good job quoting the Art of War).

Yeah, looking like a level 0 for the first 10 minutes could be really valuable.. of course, buying in as a short stack will help as well

Phil Hellmuth level="Eagle"...according to his book...Question-Can you play poker blind? Actually blind as in your eyes are permanent blind from disease.

You sure can.. a guy was playing at the WSOP with a helper telling him the cards and action. I am sure the same could be done online as well. I am not sure if there is any technology otherwise.

Yes. I had a client a while ago whom I bonded with over our shared interest in poker. He told me he plays on a site specifically designed for blind people to play. He also told me there is tech being developed in which a camera reader recognizes live cards and transmits what they are to a bluetooth headset (which he hopes will allow him to hit the casinos soon).

Past few months there are KZbin ads for AI assisted vision glasses that vision impaired people can wear that will allow them to "read" text, so it may read cards (not sure). Search it and GL.
