I think Keisha didn’t feel Siobhan’s absence until after both Mutya and Siobhan were missing together. If you watch The Mirror interview (2008) you will see Keisha reminisce of Siobhan and Mutya (awkwardly in front of Amelle). I do feel sympathy for Keisha having the entire pressure of her childhood band on her shoulders as the only original member left.

Thats a good point: the pressure Keisha must have felt to carry the success of the band (as she was the only original member left). People forget that she did that, it was her who carried and led the band from start to finish. She is the real heart of Sugababes.

@@thomasofarabia I agree. Keisha seemed to have fun with the third lineup but there was always a sense of loneliness that I had sympathy for. I do need to point out that Keisha really finessed the harmonies with Amelle and Heidi in their studio albums. She carried the heart and essence of Sugababes until she got kicked out.

Sad that Mutya never spoke to Heidi when she left, but she spoke to Keisha after she left. I'm sure that Heidi was hurt by that, to the point where she realized that the only bond she has with the girls is a business one.

I guess Mutya and Keisha had been friends for years even before Sugababes. Then Heidi and Amelle became really close. I can imagine it was hard for Heidi coming in originally and so got what Amelle would've been feeling joining the band

Mutya and Keisha had been friends since the age of 8 or 9. Mutya had her reasons why she didn't speak to Heidi and why she still doesn't speak to Heidi and she only has herself to blame.

I thought it was when Heidi passed a few comments which seemed to disreguard mutyas situation (postpartum depression after having Tahlia) mutya turned up to wish them well & apparrently she wasnt warm about it

After mutya left, sugababes change and they wasn't good enought and the tragedy for me is when keisha left . Not sugababes anymore

100% true. The sound was gone, they became inconsistent, struggling to maintain any form of momentum. Keisha did her best to keep it going, but she said it best herself, with each girl leaving it became harder to do, by the end she was embarrassed and found their music cringe worthy.

@@Philipp19967 yeah she was Beyoncé, she brought all their success, she wrote all their songs, she sang everything, they owe all their platinum and gold discs all to her, what was it you also said on another video? Oh yes "she ghost writes hits for other artists" even though there is no such term in the music industry, and no she doesn't. Stop trying to make her time in the group more important/successful than it actually was. Songs hitting the top 10 don't make them hits, they didn't sell the albums they were taken from, Change sold half of what the previous 3 albums did despite having their biggest hit on it, it had no other hit, don't bother with the line "denial was a hit in Germany" because again Change barely charted there and the 2 following albums didn't even chart in Germany and the following 2 are their lowest selling albums overall. They hit a high with about you now and then was struggle city after that.

@@Right_Direction_ change sold 500k. Three around 800k. 500k in the UK is no flop. It is as much as the entire Saturdays album sold combined lol. I didn't say she wrote all. Keisha has always been the group's writer. She wrote more than Mutya, Heidi and Amelle. She was the Sugababes to me. But without Mutya they were doing just fine. Change tour was their biggest tour yet in the UK. In 2006 they had their first arena tour as well. C&S in terms of quality and reviews was higher than TIMW and Keisha rated it above three Even years after leaving. And yes Sweet7 is garbage. No one will argue with that man.

Seeing it that way it's now much clearer why Heidi teamed up with Amelle back in 2009. Maybe she was jealous of the good conection of Amelle and Keisha (which they pretty sure had, they spent alot of time together without Heidi. Some people always try to find things which aren't there...) and then she saw her chance to change that. Which kind of worked, because nowedays she seems to have the good conection to Amelle and Jade always seems like the fifth wheel.

They were very lucky that they were able to perservere because when Diana Ross left The Supremes and Florence Ballard got Fired Mary Wilson (RIP) had a very hard time keeping the Music going. Even when they went through Group changes they still continued to keep their fan base. Only Destiny's Child were able to perservere as well.

I know that hard to be so very hard for Keisha to see everything she worked so hard for just drastically change and to not have any control over replacing mutya instead of taking a break which is what i believe they needed after she left instead of carrying on with business. She brought nothing to the table, I said she ruined the group, because in my opinion she did, they were inconsistent with her, biggest hit or not, Mutya got all the rest. Amelle ultimately brought them their downfall and aside from their biggest hit, their two lowest selling albums and another (Change) despite having their biggest hit on it, only had ONE HIT on it and the album sold half of what the previous 3 studio albums did #Facts.
