NEEDED this. Been running/playing well lately but have been struggling on FTs. My weak point for sure and it’s resulted in a bunch of stone bubbles recently

Super interesting stuff, especially the solver output. The change in play effects the range so much. Because LJ has only 18% check backs, the solver almost pronounces him dead on almost every card after that because he would bet almost all 10s and overcards. There is however an exploitative play in that though if you play a young solver genius in the bb, you check back with a 10x and he will come out betting on the next street(s) so you can roll him up.

Often, they get to the final ( often become the stone bubble) stages of online satellites but rarely normal tournaments. Live is another story though. I will rematch the early and middle stages video .

@16:50 I don’t think the solver is bluffing when shoving QQ and KK. It’s going for value when turn goes xx and BB x river as well. That is such a capped line

I was playing short stack with 25k on the button. blinds 1000-500 with 500 anti. big blind raised to 2500 under the gun 3 bet to 7500 i look down to K-J suited in hearts. i did think fold and also thought jam... But small blind called the 7500. Big blind folded. flop all diamonds 9-6-J, small blind checks under the gun checks. i told myself all checked they have no over pair that is holding a diamond so i jammed. fold from small blind and under the gun tanked about a min and said well if you flopped it nice hand. he called A-J with no Diamond. i havent finished the video should i had jammed pre flop, fold,or what i did flat?

Hi Jonathan - is there a strategy to register late in a MTT? The only reason I can think is where the blinds are higher and it is easier to get all your chips in on the flop or by the turn. In addition due to the higher blind levels, there is less players calling your pre-flop raise with marginal hands as it is no longer 'cheap' to see a flop. The downside that I see registering late is that rather than having a 100BB+ (when register early), I may have 30 to 40 BB. I would like to get your advice on this subject.

I think that if you're good at playing deep stacks there's no reason to register late as on average you will gain chips and by registring late you give up on this opportunity. However I personally tend to register late for approximately 10% of my tournaments as I think it is fine to lose just a little bit of equity to be able to play more tournaments in 1 day
