I feel like Lorcana really came out of nowhere. It’s so random but it’s super cool to see Disney doing stuff like this. So hyped to see Robin Hood representation but my favorite character has to be Scrooge McDuck

I like Lorcana but this is current Disney we’re talking about.. they’ll force ravensburger to start making cards featuring their remake versions… their worthless, dog 💩 versions of classic characters that lost them 2 billion dollars and try to shove it down our throats… it’ll get political and stupid.. I absolutely love the art on these. I'm glad they went with custom art instead of screenshots and stills from movies. I love that each card can be pulled as a holofoil, I kinda wish pokemon would do something like that. Would remind me of back when they did the reverse holos in the sapphire/ruby era where every card could basically be a holo. They should totally bring that back lol. Would love to see you open more of these. I'm not a Disney superfan or anything but just the ability to pull any card as a holo makes me want to open/collect it

Unless they over printed, the big hits of this 1st edition will forever be up there in price. Especially in the long run. I'd would even go as far as saying some of the more common cards will be valuable, too, in mint condition years from now. Also foil variations. It's Disney. Just like Pokémon, the characters are timeless, and this will keep the values of first collections up. Even starter decks bring a booster box, for greater value later. I have one of each unopened as a small "investment".

@@palkys. I opened my three decks to learn how to play and also got 5 packs from a booster box and ended up pulling the Belle Enchanted rare! My fourth pack from this set and I pulled an Enchanted! 🔥🍀🔥 Probably gonna buy less for a while till it becomes more accessible but I bought a booster box and a Illumineers trove for $200 together from my LCS and am keeping these bad boys in my sealed collection cause I doubt I’ll pull another Enchanted rare lol

They don’t officially release at major retailers until September 1st. They will be available at all major retailers including Disney stores/parks and Amazon. They will be readily available at much lower price.

Well it's not since yesterday that adults ruin TCGs for kids. Pokemon has reacted now by increasing the pullrates and printing the shit outta their new sets. Lorcana is made by Ravensburger which is a German brand that mostly does family board games and I'm almost sure they didn't expect the hype. I don't think they want this to be an exclusive high priced TCG so I guess there will be enough restock to cover the demands in the future.

The boxes not being shrink wrapped is a concern as far as resealed packs go, but as far as mapping or just replacing packs it shouldn’t be easy. The packs all have a serial number on the back that should correspond to the individual booster box you’re opening.

what i have a problem w is not collectors who doesnt play but those who are innit just for the money to get high value cards and then sell it even higher...and also buys out entire store cuz of course they are not doing it cuz they are poor but greedy midfle class to upper class depriving many poor players from working class not able to get anyone anymore from the local store, (one piece beung a bigger problem tho...) i think its called 'scalpers' or sumthin...
