It's worst when there's side pot action. The players still to act often think just because a player is all in means it's ok to talk about their hands, not realizing they could say something that could impact that players odds.

the last hand with brad booth and phil ivey, when benyamine was talking about the extra value from the 300k cash was about ivey having extra value by not having to declare the cash at the cage for tax purposes. i think gabe knew that and was covering for benyamine's indiscretion on tv. benyamine's comment certainly wasn't about ivey's safety.

Easy, old school players came from an era where freedom of speech and thought was super high and the left’s political correctness and identity politics hadn’t yet taken over while the modern players are mostly young liberals who lean heavily left and come from an artificial, smug, and fake Marxist culture, and by the way I myself am a milennial.

@@lennartherrmann3057 doesn’t take a genius to see what has happened to our country and culture. Everything is offensive, everyone is a “victim,” and unless you fall in line and obediently agree with the mainstream narrative, you’re smeared with endless labels. Old saying: if you’re not a liberal/leftie when you’re in your 20s, you don’t have a heart, and if you’re still a liberal/leftie when you’re in your 30s, you don’t have a brain. Liberals and lefties - which are effectively the same faction/unit today - have emasculated men and vilified masculinity labeling it “toxic masculinity” and that in tandem with their assault on speech and even thought, identity politics, political correctness which is just a polite form of fascism and silencing of dissent, is 75% of the reason why we have quiet, passive, and uncharismatic pros now as opposed to before when we had loads of charismatic, funny, talkative, and entertaining players.

11:46, personally I think a nice bet sizing from Esfandiari would be $130k - $132k ... it doesn't look too bluffy at all, rather it looks more like a value bet. An all-in would look a little too suspicious and Benyamine with two-pair would be sitting there with a great bluff-catcher against something like AKo/AQo. Just my thoughts. Obviously I don't have several million dollars and will never be one of the poker greats, but I would've played it that way and if I was wrong then tough luck/bad timing (not necessarily bad play).

@d0zeboy
@d0zeboy 4 жыл бұрын
Ehh it may not have been the correct play but there's not much incentive to call there because if you're Phil, you have only a small amount of money invested and you're calling off your entire stack. Even with KK, it's generally not worth it. Just a good play from the other guy, would be an even better call from Phil though. Opponent could have had AA or a set

AA was the hand Ivey put him on. But for some reason, there IS the possibility of a straight, so Yukon can rep those kind of hands like AA and sets (although highly unlikely a good player takes this route with the over shove on flop) and straights. Looking back, Ivey probably makes the call considering how insane the shove was. Only the worst of the worst players shove there.
