why do you reload at certain stages of the run?

It changes the RNG (random number generator), which leads to different outcomes. I am not sure how they decide when to do so, besides trial and error.

@@themostinteresting99 There is general trial error but reloading every 10 waves gives people checkpoints if they don't want to complete it in one sitting. Reloading on the first wave allows players to play the save on another day.
