Usually in nuzlockes the deaths don’t count until you get Pokéballs. You *do* have Pokéballs here, but there’s also special dialogue if you lose, like in SwSh’s first two rival battles. So since the game allows you to lose and still continues, I’d say it’s fair to give yourself a pass anyway!
