Blame ubisoft suits for releasing xdefiant too early to see returns on their investments. How else would Mark Rubin, an og cod lead dev, overlook an snd game mode to the point of having to push up its development to only stall it being 'ready' in season 1 to the start of season 2. The timeline of everything doesn't add up. 1. The game doesn't have enough of a base game. 2. The net code. Fix those 2 and we wouldn't have seen as much of a drop in players. as a guy below average I agree Love playing as a healer and going around on escort plopping down my healing station and just killing people who are over aggressive Watching my team reset in between gun fights and always sending fresh players to take gunfights whilst injured players rotate to the healing station gives me so much dopamine when it happens It can sadly be a little rare to see a team actually use your stations but when they do it's beautiful rarely get double digits but I do tend to get good score or good heals

I am bad, have been with the game since the launch. Like CoD4 when I first got XBL way back when, I was getting destroyed every match and it actually made me want to improve. I haven’t felt that way in an fps in so long! And here I am today, just in the last week or two I have been improving noticeably and having more fun than ever! Most people only run a character and weapon that gets easy kills (cleaner and mp7 or phantom and sniper rifle or an invisible echelon sitting in a corner with a shotgun as some examples) so be prepared to sweat. There's nothing casual about the game. Jev probably had to play for 2 hrs for that casual gameplay in this video.

@@IxBungie you are correct that I can only speak of my specific experience with the game and that my opinion won't apply to everyone but that doesn't make my opinion incorrect by any means. In my opinion hero-shooters are just naturally sweaty and only get sweatier with time, in my opinion with 50 plus hrs of gameplay I only get 1 maybe 2 matches a night that make the game feel like there's no sbmm. You could make a list of what you think makes the game casual and I could make a list of what I think makes the game sweaty as fuck and I guarantee my list will be longer 😂 my lobbies would make you think there's only 3 maybe 4 characters and that the game only has 6 or 7 weapons. Any of the round based game modes it's almost guaranteed the losing team will just all switch over to cleaners with mp7 or vector running firbomb or phantom with sniper rifles or lmg's hiding behind staked mag barriers cause they know just using the meta and getting as many easy kills as possible is the easiest way to win.

I gotta jump back in. The initial d-sync was too much for me. I don’t care about dying. I suck, I don’t like that I feel like I got away just to die when I looked and felt safe around a corner. I am an OG CoD player, and I do think this game is amazing, but it just didnt hit the “I can’t wait to get home from work and play the shit out of this game” box for me, or at least not as much as I was hoping for. Gunplay is ok, it still feels random or connection based, if that even makes sense, I die fast as hell even when I have the jump on someone, but then other times I’m on point, just feels a little off to me, bunny hopping was just a nuisance, but nothing to crazy to complain about the game being trash. The game is good, but it’s not that “I’ll play 1 more game and go to bed” and then turns into 15 more games type of game for me.

That’s the hardcore population that won’t really go anywhere for awhile. Hell 22k players finished the battlepass. 40k players have hit level 100 and I rarely see 100s in my lobbies. Usually one or two here and there. There’s public analytics from data miners and people have already data mined the servers to see player counts. The main problem the game is facing is lack of monetization. People don’t want to spend money on the game because cosmetics are pretty bad for the most part. They need a new art design team for cosmetics. A lot of people are also banking on season 3 fixing the lack of content with the new mastery changes and prestige grind offering rewards. Not to mention the supposed events. The game has the most potential out of any fps available on the market right now. You might not like it but that doesn’t take away from the facts.

One of the reasons why I stil play xdefiant is because the network is much smoother compared to cod. I get constant packet burst and latency variations in cod (yeah i'm a wifi user), but in xdefiant, i rarely experience such things.

XDefiant is some of the most fun I’ve had in a multiplayer game in a long time. The CoD meatriders make it their mission to tear the game down or find “proof” that the game is “dying”, but in reality they should be rooting for XD to succeed. Competition is GOOD, and it will inspire CoD to get off its ass and actually make an effort instead of churning out money-generating algorithmic slop every October. XD will never “kill” or even eclipse cod, but it can make CoD execs sweat a lil and prompt some real change!!!

Jev, I’d like to see your opinion on this with cod.1. Your stamina doesn’t refresh off spawn(die at 20% stam, spawn with 20% and regen it) 2. Solo matchmaking, you’re practically guaranteed a game in session until you complete a match for retention. It like subconsciously tells you, “if you take a break, you’ll have to join a game in session so just keep playing cos the only way to not have that happen is to finish a game and you then let it load you to the next lobby, this is as a SOLO too not a party.

Haha shi that would make sense for a lot of people tbh. I enjoy this game a LOT more than COD, and once they fix any left over bugs, and add all the challenges, reward systems etc it will def be more played than COD.

This game isn't bad it's pretty decent with no skill base matchmaking! I never got to experience any FPS during the glory days. I played Black Ops 2 on my Wii U and when I got my PC BO3 I was just getting constantly destroyed. When I got my current PC and heard about Cold War I was excited. SPMM hold my hand for the first couple of days then I was getting lobbies with dark matter or or just average people who know a decent amount. I was having no fun. Same thing happened to me in apex just hours of gaming destroyed by preds. At least with X I was having fun every other game or every two games. Even though I was losing or just getting played I was having fun.

Thats why I can't stand SBMM. At least when I am doing bad in XDefiant I am still having fun, because it feels like I am getting better. Whereas in games with SBMM it feels like I am getting worse over time as it feeds you easy lobbies to start then perpetually stacks the deck against you.

Xdefient had potential but the cheaters went rampant for a good few months. The bullet registration is awful I’m sure it’s fun for pc players but on console bro it’s rough. I play on an Xbox series x. I only had fun playing this game when it was in closed beta and then normal beta. The audio drops on xdefient all the time. I don’t hate xdefient I just wish it was better

@@xccelerant8695 I mean I installed the game yesterday, and honestly every single bullet has hit the opponent that I have shot at them. Maybe give it another shot because I think they fixed that problem. I have seen many complaints about hit reg, connectivity issues, delta error etc, and I have yet to have any of those problems. The game is honestly just fun
