8:26 My theory is, since we know that FromSoftware takes a lot of inspo from berserk, Mequella’s body was tortured in mohg’s palace, just like griffith’s body in the castle. Griffith had to abandon everyone and everything to gain back his wellness and strength, is mequella doing the same? Griffith was also able to get back to the physical world in his physical form after the abandonment and the sacrifices that happened, is mequella’s deeds are the only option for him to get back to the physical world? We all see how similar Mequella is to Griffith, they both have feminine faces with really long curly hair, they both lost their physical bodies and are ruling their worlds with their ethereal bodies. It’s just a theory that I was so invested in lol.

You have to die to St. Trina 4 times, and you will receive dialogue. You can die to them twice more (for a total of 6 deaths) for additional lore implications in the form of dialogue. It took me a while to figure out lol.

This DLC needs a spoiler free guide. It would give you description of places to go ( in order) with recommended level for each location. That way if you walk into a place you can figure if your there early and turn back.

Hm. Methinks one or two more deaths to St Trina would be… an interesting experience for you. Also go speak with Thiollier (white masked guy down the right of the Scadu Altus road) Also, some lore no spoilers (haven’t finished myself): We know that Miquella was taken to the Realm of Shadow via Mohg. However, go speak to Ansbach and he’ll give some veryyyy interesting dialogue. Especially now that Miquella’s great rune broke (great rune and a very powerful charm - interesting). Said dialogue has to do with the exact method in which Miquella came to the Shadowlands. We also know he’s trying to become a god here, and to do so he is following Marika’s path. Both seemed to have to had abandoned everything about themselves in order to become a god. Good or bad, who’s to say Miquella will be Miquella if he succeeds?
