Occasionally, Lyra will call and claim that her Marill evolved into Azumarill. Upon meeting her again, however, she will still have a Marill. This mix-up is due to a translation error: in the Japanese version, she talks of how she would be surprised if she were to turn around on a whim while walking about and find her Marill in the process of evolving, or having evolved, into an Azumarill. She follows that thought up with: "But that would never happen!"

One of my favorite things to mess with my friends is point out where hidden items are. The large lump of coal to the left of Oreburgh's mine in Platinum contains 2 secret items: A big Pearl and a Heart scale, and it freaks my friends out *EVERY TIME* and I love it!

The BDSP shiny sparkle is probably a Unity Particle system, which can randomise its effect really easy, a surprisingly easy effect to do.

the one about the shinies is not wrong necessarily but the gen 4 cute charm shiny glitch is also affected by id and from what i know of the code of bdsp is a copy and paste of gen 4 but worse so i wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.

14:52 is incorrect, in Gen 4 your trainer ID can influence shiny odds depending on your secret ID through a fairly obscure glitch called the Cute Charm glitch that can lead to you having upwards of a 20% chance to find a shiny and force it to have a specific gender, or set the rate to even lower than 1/8192

Gen 3's FR and LG unown shiny chance also varies widely based on the unown letter and trainer ID. IIRC its something like as low as 1/5k and as high as 1/28k

EXCUSE you don't be insulting my boy Shiinotic. Two of my favourite types are grass and fairy, and that happy (creepy) boy beats out both Whimsicott and Bulu as my favourite of the type. Rain Dish, Leftovers, Strength Sap, Giga Drain, Spore, Dream Eater. Maybe switch in Leech Seed or Moonlight too. Might pair it with a Rain Dance / Thunder / Ally Switch Magnezone, to reduce fire, trigger rain dish, and ally switch to help against those poison types. People are so mean to my boy 😭

Yes, I think they should have made the follow pokemon scaled correctly.. but only if they _also_ made the game environment entirely destructible and the more passive damage your leviathan pokemon did to the towns you walked through more and more police officers would come after you OMFG..This.. this needs to be an actual mechanic for a pokemon game. I no longer care about the size of followers, but PLEASE.. make it so doing certain actions will get the police after you and, if caught up to before you escape, you have to battle however many officers there are (maybe something like, a GTA star system would determine how many there were/their difficulty?) OH! And if you took too long beating them their backup would start showing up, making an ever piling line of cops that only get stronger to defeat holly fuck there is SO MUCH POTENTIAL FOR THIS. Forget Pokemon: Sword and Shield.. I want Pokemon: Crime and Punishment
