The Ultra Necrozma fight is absolutely terrifying. When I ran into it without knowledge of it, my only Pokémon that didn't get oneshot was my Primarina, and it did not kill in one hit either at all, so I had to switch it out, had something die, switched another thing in to heal my Primarina, and so on until it was the only Pokémon left standing and I finally beat the Ultra Necrozma. It is BRUTAL.

@@Jack-O-Moon984 Nah he actually made a youtube short talking about how the fight was easy and he just wanted to spice it up with the animation. I'm assuming he put the giratina there because it's an illegitimate run seeing as he lost to Necrozma or maybe it's hinting that the next game he'll try is platinum.

To give a idea about the Ultra Necrozma fight : - The Necrozma battle when he was just fused with Solgaleo or Lunala had a 10 level difference even though both battles are very close - His BST is at 754 with 97 in all defensive stats, 129 in speed and 167 in both offenses - Like the Totem pokemons, he get a stat boost at the start of the battle ... and in his case a Ancient Power like Omniboost - His movepool consist of Photon Geyser + Dragon Pulse for STAB and Power Gem + Smart Strike for coverage. - It hit a lot of pokemons hard and his signature ability gave a 20% boost to his moves that are super effective

Ultra Necrozma's reputation of being a nuzlocke destroyer is so bad, that some nuzlockers believe you should be allowed a pass on that fight alone due to how absurdly powerful that thing is. The boost's it has and level increase are bad enough (heck by that point your pokemon are probably just getting into the lvl 50 range unless your grinding like crazy)Prismactic Lazer alone can nuke just about anything that isn't a dark type (even most steel types can get obliterated due to most being more physical defensive), but it's other attacks still hit hard as well. Granted there is a way to make the fight easy, but it requires having Zoroark, using it's ability to trick Ultra Necrozma into using Prismatic Lazer (which won't work) and retaliating with Foul Play (a dark type move that does super effective damage on UN and more because it does more damage the more boosts the enemy has) but since it's a specific counter, and if your nuzlocking, you may not get Zorua. If this was honestly his first time playing through the games, then yeah he should've been allowed a pass, because he couldn't have known how absurd that thing would be, but still nuzlockers over all do debate over that. The only person I know who's given their opinion on the matter was Marriland, who believes that no one should not be allowed a pass, but i've yet to see anyone else's opinion on it.

​@@dethtroy2185 Foul Play deals more damage based on the enemy's attack stat. Punishment deals more damage based on each stat boost the enemy pokemon has. It's the best move to use against Ultra Necrozma if you can get access to it

@@dragonshiny7321 Foul Play still works though since Ultra Necrozma has high attack to begin with and is increased due to all it's stats including Attack being boosted by Z-power. Your not wrong though that Punishment would be even more deadly though. I still feel though that having to need certain counters for this fight especially if your nuzlocking is extreme.

@@dethtroy2185 X-items are incredibly broken in nuzlockes, so if you have any pokemon with a high special defense or hp, you can just spam those and healing items until you can beat it.

Keeping it simple, Ultra Necrozma is a MENACE. A psychic/Dragon with a moveset that deals VERY well with a lot of its would be counters and hitting HARD with its signature move, and on top of that its already bonkers BST of 754 is bolstered by an omniboost like the totem pokémon, any attack coming from that 167 base special attack?! Theres a reason why cheesing this boss has become a norm for this game. If you're not ready for it, it will break you in half. I got LUCKY in the fact when I first fought it my Araquinid new Mirror Coat and managed to tank a hit from it by some miracle.

My first run of Ultra Moon was a nuzlocke because I thought Pokemon was a baby game for babies. Ultra Moon proceeded to beat me up, stuff me in a locker and call me a nerd throughout the entire game, and finally got fed up with my crap with Ultra Necrozma ending me absolutely effortlessly. It is to this day the game I consider the absolute most difficult game to nuzlocke in the series.

Dude. Believe it or not, but a channel called Pokébinge called Necrozma, the first Legendary Pokémon I ever caught, the most evil Legendary Pokémon in existence. They completely blame it for greedy people stealing its light from it. Pokémon Ultra Sun was the first ever mainline Pokémon game I got, so of course I have an attachment to everything within it.

In my first playthrough of Ultra Sun i straight up couldnt beat necrozma and after 14 failed attempts i just brought 4 mimikyu and a fuck ton of revival herbs i managed to chip away slowly until it ran out of moves and knocked itself out (i was really confused as to why it was only using dragon pulse)

I ain’t gonna lie I did the same thing Young yong did against necrozma in my nuzlocke…only it was a Metagross. And I thank god I had him only reason I won the first time and avoided casualties. I did get rid of the toxic protect stall set later from him cause it felt like I cheated to little me. But all the nuzlocke I’ve seen have told me little me did the right thing so sorry not sorry necrozma.
