The way this person pronounces the names of the pokemon, combined with the idea that Pokemon are getting beaten up and possibly meet their demise (I mean, this is something that's common in horror movies), and her voice being pretty high pitch despite that this could be AI generated (who knows) is why it can feel very off-putting. Also it's on the same situation and style that many other youtube videos have done with their Top 10s, Top 20s of (Insert title here), etc. However, I do think I still miss the Top 10 videos from back in the late 2000s early 2010s as those are WAAAYYY more genuine and a lot more soul and heart than whatever these types of videos are made in the late 2010s early 2020s and beyond.

I got used to it overtime, but this voice is pretty common in terms of most popular top 10 lists similar to what WatchMojo did back in the late 2000s early 2010s. Nowadays, WatchMojo is a joke to watch, and gets much of their info completely wrong sadly, so nobody suggests or even watch them anymore, despite their 20th anniversary occuring in 2026.
