We had darshan of Mukthinath in May ,2018.We went by air taxi.But come down by van .We could see some improvement in road condition but some places still the same. This is a very important pilgrimage place.Road condition to be improved for safe journey.Thanks for good vedio.

@@silverace08 With a slight rainfall, the situation becomes worse. At least a car with high ground clearance and 4WD will be recommended. However, this type of car can go on fine days. The road is so so, better by jeep.

It depends on the season and weather conditions. I personally don’t recommend without 4WD because in case it rains, the muddy part becomes a huge trouble. This is the reality, choice is your.
