Both fighters are very accustomed to the Muy Tia style with Joanna a multiple time world champion, so those saying KK's knees would be a problem for Joanna are in the shallow end of the pool. My money will be on a competitive fight but JJ winning. Expect tons of elbows from both. However I expect Joanna to be proven much faster and get off first. Also JJ's Cardio is 8 round capable so she won't gas during the fight. Not sure if KK has ever gone 5 rounds. We'll see.

Karolina's clinch game is savage! That said, Joanna counters practically every strike & I don't see her getting caught up in clinches. Joanna's striking is far superior to Karolina's. I will be shocked if K beats J but as we all know, anything is possible.

Joanna's striking is just so much crisper than Karolina's and I believe she seems faster, if Karolina's is tough enough she may be able to hurt her but I think Joanna "gonna be champ for long time".,.......... oh that's right she still is she is just a step above the division my favorite female fighter for a while now. I`m lookin for this fight. First time I saw Kowalkiewicz I thought she`s gonna be something and 3 years ago I was wonering with my friends if she got any chance to fight in UFC and to be honesty most people didn`t take it seriously. they are listed 3 inches apart JJ is 5-6, KK is 5-3. Things look different when the fighters are semi crouched in fighting stance with their heads down. Notice how JJ almost has her chin down almost all the time during her fights makes her look shorter than she is.

One thing interests me in particular though; upon examining Karolinas fights further I found that she had not fought the championship rounds in all of her 10 wins so far, only 3 round fights. Which brings the question; will Karolina gas out in rounds 4-5 like Claudia Gadelha did, or will she go the distance and fight with the same energy as Joanna?
