Cardio is king in lighter divisions due to low KO chance. Makes no sense to have poor cardio in those divisions, like conor gassing out in 8 minutes. However if you can take high cardio and strength to higher divisions you get a Cain, Jones or DC level of grinding which can be quite terrifying too

In the best possible way, anyone else think Joanna punches like a dude? Her striking is just snappy and vicious, her torso does not pitch forward clumisily with combos. I need to watch more UFC but so far the womens division still seems like it has a long way to go to offer her significant threat from strikers. I will say one thing, the ladies certainly seem to be able to take hits and keep on going, definitely very tough. It's only going to keep getting better as the bar is set higher, Robin Black seems to have a good eye for this stuff - and i like how he wraps his head around the physics of fighting.
